In the spirit of the olympics I think it would be fun to have some country based competitions. There could be one pvp style event (something elimination style like a reg), one monster hunting event (fastest group to kill a super strong monster wins), fastest team to kill 5 specific monsters spread out over the world (they'd need a special loot item added to identify it), etc.

Obviously some countries have more players on INX then others, so to make things fair you'd be limited to how many people you can enter into any event. Ex: for the monster one you can only enter 5 players so the country 'captain' or whatever you want to call him, would elect 5 players from his country to enter into this competition.

Depending on the number of competitions people come up with, how many times any player can enter an event would be limited (for the countries with more players) so the captains wouldn't be able to use the same 3 or 4 people all the time and have to try and pick people for their better abilities.

Prizes could be awarded something like 10k to each person on the winning team in each competition and 100k to each player on a team if their country wins the most amount of competitions. In the event of a 2-way draw it would be 50k to each person on each of the winning teams, a 3-way draw would be 33k per person on each of the winning teams, etc.


Feel free to suggest some other style of competitions we could use, and from the staff it would be great to know if this would be possible!

Here's a great idea... how about you two stop taking turns riding each others dicks and actually try to contribute something positive to the shard.


In response to pink dragon's semi relevant points;

1. You can nominate a captain, or if multiple people volunteer they can duel for it or roll dice, etc.
2. You can verify what country someone is from by checking their IP, which the staff can easily do. You can also check with other players. It's doubtful someone is from Russia if they don't speak any Russian, or it's doubtful someone is from Canada if they don't speak good English or good French.
4. In this case, countries can borrow players from other countries (like has been done in previous olympics for hockey teams), or you can put two or 3 countries together and form a sort of coalition.

Lately all I've seen you contribute is a lot of bashing of other's ideas and insulting. Maybe I don't always suggest the greatest of ideas but at least that's better then what you do.

When I said "Maybe I don't always suggest the greatest of ideas" I was referring to some previous suggestions that didn't go over so well and I even admitted in those threads that it wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

So what, the majority of players are on INX only because you talked to them? Please, quit toting your own ego. By saying stuff like that you're only taking credit away from others who have contributed things to this shard, including the staff. I won't say you didn't bring any players here, but I won't say you brought the majority of players here either. As for macroing a full character, most of us did just that. Not everyone had fully macroed characters on XUO and the few who didn't didn't get 100% skill transfers so everyone here now has macroed as much as you. Don't try and make yourself sound good by saying you did it twice, that was your own stupidity for getting banned and having to macro again to play on a server you wanted to. I doubt Taran said 'oh smoke please come back. We so desperately need you'.
