Yet again
#1

Yet again the 1v1 speacial reg wasn't hosted.. it's funny how players and staff are wondering why they don't have active players nor many players on the shard.. well it's right under there noses I mean out of all the people on the staff team not one could come online to host a regularly schedueled event? this is ridiculous and it's why i haven't even been playing as often as i have been whatever im not going to make a big log post because its useless they don't get heard. I'm litterly telling you whats wrong, yeah you have two new staff and they should know about the weekly tour since they play here yet where are they when it actually comes down to do something..

Anyways as you can see my frustration I don't really care anymore since nobody else seems too, im going to play some cs later.

"The staff are busy with IRL stuff! They dont have time to play UO anymore"
....

Then why are they staff on IN-X hmm? Cause they are trustworthy? Well they dont play... so maybe we need staff that Play who r trustworthy

it comes to the point where us players just laugh at you gms which isn't really funny.. because why state you guys are going to host a weekly tour when it's been 2 weeks in a row now that nobody has hosted it? the only reason the last one got done was because i personally msned ginz and asked him to make it the weekly

i mean come on don't give us that bs that you don't have time.. it's 1 hour out of your whole week.. if you can't spare that then you're not active staff and you shouldn't even be on the list.. (this will probably get edited but it's actually a serious matter..)

Staff does this for free, they don't get payed. They have to put up with constant *****ing and whining from players and they don't get anything in return for it.
I'm surprised there are people actually willing to staff.

RL always comes first. That's also why we normally don't have tournies at specific times during the week, you can never know for 100% you can host. Tiesto has hosted a lot of tournies at the same time until now. Last time he didn't feel very well and I'm sure he has his reasons this time too. Maybe someone in his family has a birthday party, maybe he got invited over to a friend's house for dinner. You think he will say "No thanks, I have to host a tourny on IN:X"?

These kinds of posts only push staff away even more. Ungrateful players that think staff should be online 24/7 and ***** and whine about just about everything is what makes staff quit.

Now if a staff member simply doesnt have the time for UO anymore, I will talk to that person and eventually put him/her off the staff list. But come on, he missed 2 tournies and you begin to whine.
Why don't you thank him everytime he hosts instead? That way he will feel appreciated and become even more motivated to host the next tourny. And this goes for all staff members, you should appreciate them more.

I'm not complainning about tiesto in general so don't get the wrong idea about this but tiesto has hosted only 2 tours of the last 7 or 8 weekly and it's his evet that he made up.. I mean if you're going to get the players hopes up about having the event at least come online and host it instead of saying your going to do something and just not do it at all.. I'm not ungreatful i'm happy playing here i enjoy it but there raelly is no staff around when it's a scheduled tourney.. I'm sorry taran but 1 hour out of your whole week of time seems pretty reasonable to me..

I mean it's the only thing we look forward to for the whole day, that specific time is when we have most clients because they know theres going to be a tour..

So please taran before you tell me that im not appreachiating what tiesto does it's because tiesto has only hosted 2 of his own tours out of 7 or 8 of them..

EDIT: Yeah well as you said also they don't get paid for this but they also don't play and there are a lot of others who are trustworthy who do play a lot that would make fine staff. I'm also all for RL before UO because i personally know how important exams or family is over a video game..

Tiesto has been in most of the Weekendly maybe on all of them, one of the reasons he have not hosted its because I wanted to host.

And as Taran said the staff is here to help at "FREE TIME", I understand that its a special tourney but if there are no other staff to host we have nothing to do :S
