I've set up a vendor in the love casino to give away helpful items to new players. You can reach the bar by the blue/gray gate in duel pits. Next to the red gate to duel stones in the middle room.

Currently he has stocked full spellbooks (non newbied). Elven bows (donated by Tabion, thx!). Plenty of regular rides, different color horses and a few llamas. Sets of old copper armor (donated by dr k cause he left his static unlocked).

Also there are magic arrow scrolls, new players can use these for magery, they will work just the same as casting the spell. Obviously though, they are free so you dont need to buy SA. I have no use for them and as I'm still working on gm inscript I'll restock as I make more.

I will randomly put stuff on the vendor like 1 room houses, mustangs, etc which will also be free. Its first come first serve basis.

All I ask is that people only take what they absolutely need so other players also in need can get some help. If people come along and just loot him dry for giggles I'll just stop doing it, no sweat off my sack, that person would gain very little and only hurt the community.

If anyone has stuff they feel like donating that would be helpful to new players just PM me on forums or in game.

Ya thats appreciated.. we spend the time to level our bow craft and the one bow we can actually make money off Elven bow.. your giving for free? Thats pretty shitty I have to say.

If your going to give free stuff away, give away things we don't have to work for like Loot off monsters, this just screws the economy if everyone is walking around with free elven bows, why did I even GM bowcraft?

Sorry, im not trying to cheapen your generousity, but with practically no one on the server yet, everyone doesn't need to have amazing items to start off just because all the ppl during Beta are rich. When ppl do join, it would be nice if we can make some money off the skills we've leveled. I think houses and stuff are pretty excessive. It would be better if you had lotteries or competitions to give away big stuff like that.

Free items for starters should not be that generous lol, it means they don't have to do crap and they have great stuff they didn't work for. Just give reasonable items. And honestly someone is going to go their and take everything.. it will happen for sure, honor system never works. Its appreciated for sure, but it won't work if the items are great.

And for peoples sake, like mine for instance, don't give away things we had to work up to in order to make. I don't have time to GM 2 or 3 other skills just to make the other 2 damn bows and get recipe and materials. The elven bow is the only thing I have to sell with my skill and stupid logs. LOL

Again not trying to cheapen what your doing, just a fact that it effects everyone, not just new ppl who need items.

Standard elven bows are never going to sell in VM for any profit. The ones that sell are gm made exceptional elven bows. The profitable thing of course is going to be logs because they are used for so many crafts.

Dunno, bowcraft is one of the more useless tradeskills. I'd ask staff why you can only make one bow, not me.

Proof that you cant even give something away without someone crying. And it wasnt even up a day, wow. I've only been around for two to three months, and the beta has been going well over a year. There are people on the shard with 10000x the amount of money I have in the bank. Once you get skills money is easy enough to come by, but when I was starting out alone there were a lot more tournies and ways to get an extra 5 or 10k towards stuff like houses, those arent here anymore.

Seriously what are you smoking? Elven bows and old copper armor are complete junk. Horses and llamas I can pick up 50 of them in lost lands in 20 mins. MA scrolls to help with magery I can do nothing else with BUT give away. 1 room houses are complete junk. I make the money for them in a single 30 minute hunt. And of course someones going to come by and loot the vendor, its an absolute certainty. If you have such a problem with me giving things away how bout you do it. Cuz he's not being restocked after that happens. And everyone else who this might have helped can thank you.

Dont confuse things, your complaining because of selfishness. Tabion also GM'd bowcraft, and it was him who donated those bows. Or is him GMing it somehow less meaningful then you doing it? These are non exceptional bows which most people junk, so stop ****in crying and sounding like a total douche. You've been making plenty of dosh by selling logs and will make plenty more, its the exact same thing except they arent green and shaped like a bow, and they are worth more lewl.

Btw I've just bought all your extremely overpriced standard elven bows off your vendor which would NEVER have sold as they are twice the price of the ones on goffy's vendor. I'll now put them up for free on mine. Why? Because I do care about supporting the in game economy, even if its helping out someone who understands nothing about it and attempts to chastise people for giving away THEIR OWN POSSESSIONS WHICH THEY EARNED. This is completely fragmented and makes no sense. Yes you gm'd bowcraft, whooptyeffingdoo. I gm'd alchemy, but if I try to sell mana pots for twice what everyone else is, I'm not gunna see any business regardless of player count. Also, like I said in the previous post, a player donated those bows because he had extra normal ones from making exceptionals. Obviously you feel you are god or something and want to dictate to everyone else what they can or cannot do with their stuff. Grow up.

This is a very good point, but it has to do with the tradeskill itself, not with me or what I do or dont do. I think you should definitely voice your opinions about the skill to staff.

I've bought elven bows before, many times, just never non exceptional ones. That is until I bought yours to give away. So you see someone did buy more then one.
