Just looking at the GM rewards page and wondering why its only a few skills there. And also wondering why GM Magery is rewarded when its pretty easy to macro it. It's expensive but pretty easy. GM lumberjacking and mining seem a hell of a lot harder. And something like GM forensics....pfeh. So how about a GM reward for each skill? Nothing uber fancy or advantageous...maybe something as basic as newbified or coloured. FOR EXAMPLE:
GM Fishing - A coloured newbified fishing pole
GM Hiding - A coloured newbified cloak (a la shiela in dungeons and dragons)
GM Magic Resistance - A staff with a glowy top (a la gandalf on the bridge vs the balrog)
just a few ideas and really not OTT items. They wont enhance the mechanics of the game but will do wonders for the gameplay. And I know on a macroable server everyone will end up with certain things but it would still add to the feel of the place and maybe give an incentive to people to do more with their characters. Also it would enhance the style of gameplay. For example a guy riding alone around a dungeon with a glowy staff and a hat with a star on the top and a horse with glowy hoofs would probably say to a would be pk-er hmm....Ive got GM magery, resistance and taming...wanna try me?
I think it would add so much flavour. Thanks if you read this.

Hiding and Magic Resistance? Why should people get rewarded for something that doesn't require any effort at all? Magery requires this effort because you need alot of resources, as the crafting skills. It takes time and money. Although, there are a few skills I would like to have rewards for, and that is;
Fishing, Mining, Tinkering, Lumberjacking and maybe Cooking.

+1, but there is another thread in this forum about it I believe. I might even be on the same page?

yeah theres another thread called GM musicianship on the general forum. I liked the idea so i moved it to suggestions. And the reason I mention hiding and resistance and in fact all skills is just so that people tried them. So far 90% of people are GM healers. BOOORIIING. But with rewards for GM-ing everything it might make people try other stuff. Sure a lot of it can be macro's...but at least then they might use it. Hence saying that the rewards would be flavour rather than mechanical. Just trying to spice up the game. It must be boring crunching numbers for stats surely.
ofcourse everyone wants special items only for the stuff he is macroin

or GM stuff for every skill. Kinda makes macroing pointless. or makes people who wont macro get something also. It works itself out. (and if that was a dig at me insinuating that I macro...well no is the answer. I dont know how to for a start other than putting a book and a pen on my F1 key) But if theres a macro to get GM magery and its rewarded with a biiig kiss why not lumberjacking, forensics, stealth, carpentry, snooping, animal lore, blacksmithing...every other skill? I dont see how a few skills get it and the other dont. They are all equally important and functional so why not make them all rewarded. Like I said at the very very very very start.... /pause while you troll up /unpause it shouldent e a mechanical addition. Just something simple and functional to the skill. But it can be displayed up the character so that others can see the extent of your expertise (and YES scriptwriting abilities). Thought a lot of people would like this idea. Guess most wanna keep their fanboi domination of a possible best shard.

BTW, you are called a "healer" for the skill Anatomy. Most everyone you see is actually GM anatomy, and not healing. There are probably pretty few people that actually have GM healing.

I recall getting a GM newbied shovel when I gmed mining on IN1. Do I recall incorrectly? I think a newbied shovel/pickaxe should be issued upon GMing mining, it's a very hard skill to GM. Regards.

We have a ****ing book on IN1? Was it like an instructions book with pictures on different styles?
Anyway, I added a pickaxe as a reward for mining. I'll see how I add pickaxes to everyone who already GMd mining. Maybe I will just set the mining skill to 99.9, or would you be mad if I did that?
