I dont know about anyone else but i personally have found that the fail rates on BS seem to be REALLY high. I Gmed BS and still fail 70% of the time when only crafting Shadow or Rose etc... I just sujesting perhaps they get lowered a little.
As or the Hunting, I've noticed that the monsters dont give anywhere near as much fame and karma as they normally did. I hunted for about 3hours straight and only came back with around 100 Fame and Karma...
If we have to get 10k for Order and Chaos shields, i just think it will take way too long. Perhaps the amount of Karma and Fame should be slightly raised.
Just a few idea's.

the fail rates are too high... we dont work to gm mining and bs(which are already really hard) to be confronted with the risk of losing our rares most of the time.
i was getting some simple ores crated and couldnt even get a breast plate from a person with 98 black smithin. these ores were like rose and verite!
i dont wan2 mine 200 saphire just to get 1 suit... when it comes down to it

Yeah i've talked to quite alot of GM blacksmiths and had a few of them make some suits for me in the lower grades of ore and been quite surprised when ive had to give them over 100 ignots just to get one suit of shadow or rose. Especially with mining being as hard as it is atm(not complaining) we don't want to see our hard work being lost at a smiths hands. Especially when it comes to Admantium and Sapphire! hehe This isn't one of those carebear things either, you'll find that the general population will agree on this one. Should just need a bit of a tweak and we all good boyyy!

I agree, i have about a 72 blacksmith skill and im technically meant to be able to make plate arms and legs not every single time i should fail a fair bit still because im nowhere near a high skill, but if im technically allowed to try and means i shouldnt fail 100% of the time with iron, i spent 500 iron roughly and failed every single one.
Id have to say i also dont want to put in hard work and a LOT of time to gm bsing and fail at crafting like what happens to Androth, im sorry but it'll just make this craft even more pointless. I mean people dont wear armor except when tournys are on or mayb if they are hunting monsters, so there is little demand for armor and with the failure rate as high as it is, it would just gut me if i failed a valuable rare ore set of armor and id probably quit because it'd annoy me too much if what i want to do on this shard was barely possible.
For people who dont take joy in craft skills and instead prefer pvp, compare what it'd be like for you if you gm'd magery and then say there was a 70% failure rate at casting flamestrike, without being hit while casting. Would it not suck that the part of the game you enjoy and worked so hard on was borderline worthless because you failed so much. Please dont take this as me complaining just place yourselves in the shoes of someone who enjoys a certain aspect of the game and then it is beyond challenging (as Jakko i reckon could sympathise with).
Im just sugesting the admins and gms take a look at this issue that is technically destroying an aspect of the game quite a few people enjoy, thankyou.

Skill gain for blacksmithing isnt the problem though its meant to be really hard, the thing we are trying to get across is that someone with GM blacksmith shouldnt fail something as minor as a shadow iron chest plate 4 times in a row. If it were to happen on a rarer ore like sapphire you'd be ready to kill someone if it took 200 ingots to make one chest plate because you failed all the time (with GM blacksmith). We just would like the staff to maybe take a look at these fail rates if they get the chance, it just seems that some of the minor rare ores have a way high fail rate.

I think Maka said he will fix this when he gets time.
Sorry for the slow response, I must have missed this post.
