I doubt it, we didn't change anything that should affect the lag on the server.
But I'm sure that would be solved if we get enough donations to get the new server running Big Grin

Powerful argument! Big Grin I hope, new connection and server not so far...

  • There is now a slight delay before vendors call guards. They also have to be in LOS to call guards (doesnt apply if players call guards). They won't hit you a million times anymore and if you are lucky you can run away for quite a bit when they come.
  • Basecreatures no longer have a hit delay meaning you can't get hurt 10 tiles away anymore.
  • Removed the old command .showarrivemessage (.sam)
  • Added a new command .DisplayLocation (.DL). When enabled you can use .ShowPlayers or .SP to get a list of the players with .DL enabled and their location/coordinates.
  • Added support for client 7
  • Various bugs fixed
  • Enabled SE and ML artwork. You can now choose from more items when creating custom houses.
  • Enabled the character transfer script again, this time without crashes. Everyone who played on the latest XUO version or IN:R will be able to import their chars by using the command .importcharacter
  • Added house decay if you have more than 2 houses (statics not included). Decay period is 30 days and to refresh you or a friend of the house simply have to open your doors or the house sign. Your first 2 houses never decays. Single click or double click the house sign to see if it decays and/or how new the house is.
  • Server will now auto restart if it crashes
  • Updated to the latest RunUO distro SVN version
  • The new veteran reward system added with the distro update should not be enabled (at least not how it currently looks)
  • Added a new cliloc translator that fixed a cliloc string error
  • Fixed spellbook name issue
  • Fixed names, loot and strength on AOS, SE, LBR and ML mobs
  • Corrected some issues with ML creatures
  • You can now get 100k max when killing champs and harrowers instead of unlimited like before (precaution if damage bugs occur)
  • Fixed a rare crash
  • Corrected guarded regions that were changed when we updated to the latest RunUO distro SVN version
  • Changed real estate broker text to public overhead when he gives you money for your deed
  • Bolts of cloths you get when creating a tailor arent newbied anymore

  • Added two new commands for staff: .cycle and .clearcycle. - .cycle will go through the online players in order of logged in time (longest login time first) everytime you use the command. It will start over once you have gone to every player online or when you use .clearcycle
  • Staff members can now always use items even if they items are flagged as in an event and/or the staff is flagged as in an event
  • Fixed an issue where crafting certain fireplaces wouldn't consume resources
  • Fixed a rare crash issue with the AntiMacro gump
  • You now go karma red at -9000 karma (meaning you can get guard whacked).
  • You now gain/loose fame based only on the killed player's karma. Being red or aligned doesn't matter.
  • Masks of orcish kin no longer makes you loose karma when equipped.
  • Remade the whole eventsystem and made it better, players shouldn't notice any real difference.
  • Added AdvancedTeleporter
  • CriminalCheck on the current teleporters will now work again
  • Updated to the latest RunUO distro SVN version (497)
  • You now only have to step on a dropped flag in CTF to pick it up or return it to home. You still have to doubleclick it to steal it from the opponent's home though.
  • Fixed a hitching post crash
  • When a player that carries the CTFflag is kicked from a CTF the flag returns to the home location.
  • Fixed crash issue if a player deleted their char while in an event
  • For staff: NPC speech is now filtered in HearAll

  • Uhm seems the duelstone ladder hasn't been working for quite a while. It will now update properly again.
  • Added 17 new plant seeds
  • Removed the cost restrictions on duel stones: may replace supplied free duels
  • Added new item StaffBox: mainly for counselor use
  • Chaos/order/neutral shields are no longer bound to the owner, they can be used by anyone.
  • If you are not the owner of a chaos/order/neutral shield you must now have 10k fame to equip it for the first time and set the owner to yourself.
  • The server will no longer warn if you have an outdated client.
  • The autocut prevention is now only enabled when players are not in events. Should fix the "not-being-able-to-step-on-the-flag-in-CTF-for-3-seconds" bug
  • Hopefully this will fix the issue with players getting stuck with solidhueoverride
  • If you are killed while teleporting from pitsrune or AdvancedTeleporter you will no longer be teleported.
  • You can no longer sell deeds to architects, you have to go to a real estate broker and drag the deed to the vendor. This needed to be changed to fix some various bugs with the architect.
  • Adjusted some loots on various low end mobiles
  • Added a timer on the Squelch command - .squelch 5 for 5 mins squelching.

Get the seeds, throw em in a bowl that has some moist soil in it and wait 7 days to see what you get! How's that for details.

They drop on certain monsters and they work more or less like normal plants. However these are mutant plants and cannot be cross pollinated and do not grow resources of any kind. The plants vary greatly. for example you can grow a lily pad and a tree. The rest you will have to find out on your own.

  • Staff: .cycle no longer uses threading to fix crash issue
  • Fixed two other crash issues
  • Testing fix for players ending up in black area on server crash.
  • The DM scoregump will now only show Top 15 but it will also show your own kills and deaths at the bottom
  • You no longer get points when killing yourself in DM
  • Distro update
  • You can now open lockable containers if you have the key on you without having to unlock the container first.
  • Staff: You can no longer hear squelched players in HearAll

About the lockable box,

You can open it when you have the key on you but if you're trying to grab something into it, it's still kind of buggy.

FYI: locking a chest is useless since someone *should* be able to just pick the lock Wink
