RTFM as it normally is referred to as 'Read The F***** Manual' you have allot of info, links and help on the runuo Forums.

And no I was not a developer on Phantasya, but yes I did learned far more than the basics of C# meanwhile, and no I will not indulge none of you and do something time consuming, because as I said, I simply dont have the time for it!

Again and I'm glad and at the same time sorry to say ... It's IN-X that has to prove it's worth!

Glad because I consider Taran an humble guy that doesn't even gets bored to come forward and ask for help and sorry, because IN-X has proved nothing to the time being while many other projects such as this have at least a week project log and continuous changes.

I'm not comparing things, but I would indeed like to see what you have promised, become true!

Not that I would play, but I surely will give it a try when it's ready Wink

hmm... i tried that already and got a few chapters in before i stopped because i had to learn different programming languages for school; QBASIC, ASM (i doubt anybody other then me and maka know what that is) and C.

once i don't have 4 or 5 programs to do a week for my teachers, ill look at C# again.

and btw, making me read it isnt magical, that takes free time which i don't have much of. so im still waiting for the "magical" answer lol

Hey Taran, I'm the one (or one of the ones...) who emailed you ([email protected]). Thought I'd stop by and say hello!

So: hello.

I'll download the C# kit thing from Microsoft and read a tutorial to get me up to speed. Hopefully I'll be able to help!

Oh and I was Aria on all the IN shards if anybody knew me or cares.

Yep I already e-mailed you back, it's always good to hear from an old IN:er Smile

If you know Assembly and C then you shouldn't have a problem with C#. C# is like C/C++ on training wheels. Just powerful enough but doesn't let you really break anything.

I enjoy assembly, it's really interesting to see what instructions your high level code breaks down to and it's the only language where a goto (JMP/jump) isn't considered a bad practice.

ASM breaks my mind.

well we only studied asm for about 1 1/2 semesters. (1 semester is about 15 weeks) we never got too into detail, like we never did any file manipulations, or saving stuff to files etc.

and we've only studied C for 1/2 a semester. so i got a little ways to go before im ready to tackle another language.
