Valentines is what i like to call a hallmark holiday. It is a day that was made by companies so they can make more money. Uhh I used to spend money on my girlfriend until I realized I dont have to and I dont have the money to spend.

valentines day was a day for single ppl to deliver flowers etc etc to someone they secretly admired, sometimes with a small hint so the other person would understand who it was =)
