Ultima Online: Golden Age project.(IN tribute,Europe).

Hello to the entire old-school gaming community! I want to take advantage of this space to announce an upcoming and significant project as a tribute to this great server. Of course, it will be a European version, and we won't spare any expenses to host both the server and the project's website, where we already have a web designer working.

Currently, the server is in the internal testing phase, and there is no access for players. Although everything seems to be working well, we will make some changes to the PvP event type, and we want to ensure its smooth operation before the official launch.

Soon, there will be information about the Discord server and the server's website. We are confident that we will see the rebirth of the community that Imagine Nation once worked so hard to build, bringing back the gaming style that we, the old-school players, miss so much.

I hope those of you who are truly interested have as much enthusiasm to relive the gaming experience we once had, and undoubtedly, we are going to enjoy it again.

Here are some images of what the project is shaping up to be. The server will be called Ultima Online: Golden Age. It's a tribute to what Imagine Nation conveyed to us during that time that nostalgic individuals miss so much.

Of course, there is still work to be done to beautify the world, review spawns, ensure the proper functioning of systems, and add some new ones. The core is from Imagine Nation; so far, the most significant change we've made is to the PVP events. We've implemented them to be automatic, and currently, we have Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, 1v1 tournaments, and soon, 2v2 tournaments. Additionally, we've included the legendary "I wish to duel" system so you can challenge anyone you want.
We have also worked to restore the original visual appearance for the client.

We maintain the essence of PVM (Player vs. Monster), and we'll add new prizes as well as monthly rankings for both PVP and PVM, each with its respective rewards. Of course, we also keep the crafting system with the minerals and materials we all remember, so you can experience the same feelings of mining or crafting items for trade,also the server core's statcap and skillcap (no skillcap / 300 statcap).

We bring you a new update that we are working on, a system similar to the current "modern" Paragon system, but with some modifications, and that works perfectly in our golden era to further incentivize PVM (Player vs. Monster). We are going to work hard on this aspect for those who love to battle monsters and obtain unique rewards. Here's a small sample video when I was testing the system:

Also, we are working on elemental weapons, which have the probability of performing a special hit. Of course, they don't inflict the same damage to a creature as they do to a player; players receive less damage.
We are working on creating a good number of weapons, seeking balance, and determining where to obtain them.

Awesome, im stoked for this shard! I've tried a few shards to get that old school fix of UO. None of them were close to what IN was. Cant wait for launch day!

Hello again!
We've noticed that in Imagine Nation, taming creatures like drakes, dragons, or white wyrms was not possible. In Golden Age, it will be possible to obtain certain eggs of these creatures with a low chance to have your own monsters and use them. However, the damage inflicted by these creatures on players will be controlled to avoid disrupting PvP, thereby preventing quick deaths due to a creature's attack.

We are confident that this will bring a significant change to PvM for tamers, making it more feasible to defeat powerful bosses with a small group of players. More information about this will be available soon, and in a few days, we will have the Discord server ready for a suitable place to discuss and list the changes made.

Hello everyone again, and thanks for paying attention to this post!
Today, I want to inform you about an important change regarding a PVM event.
The crypt to which we had access from the old casino through a gate has been replaced by automatic city invasions every day.
As you already know, there used to be a PVM coin that could be obtained by participating in these events, and it has now been replaced by "PVM reward scrolls," which can be redeemed for prizes at the PVM prize stone.
Once every 24 hours, a city will be invaded, excluding Britain, which cannot be invaded.
After dealing with the majority of enemy hordes, a champion will spawn at some point in the city, and 5 lucky players who have dealt damage to it will receive a PVM reward scroll.
Of course, the invaded cities will be free of guards, so we'll likely have our sneaky assassins lurking around, trying to spoil the party for the brave defenders. Guards will return to the city once the champion is defeated.
The event will be completely automatic and will occur once every 24 hours; the exact schedule is still to be determined.
I'm sure we'll have a great time dealing with hordes of monsters and assassins; chaos will reign for a while in each city, so... raise your axes, spears, and swords because God won't be with us during the invasion!!! Big Grin
