Hopefully you had some fun during your gametime or else why did you even play?

BTW the vendor-search is now available on github. That'd be a great first script for your new shard!

Yes and he still supposed has money from donations so what's the problem ? And I know for a fact internet in Sweden is quite cheap for the connection speed....and what's stopping people from still helping...

Electricty for one computer is not expensive...so keep coming up with excuses...

I do care where my money go. I'm just not used to be a leecher. Especially a whining leecher that blames a guy who spent shitloads of time on work that community enjoyed for years, because he stopped doing so. Instead of saying thanks for the oportunity to play in first place, because like Cana said the service was free, it didn't have to be there. Non comercial means no profits , yes, but it also means no obligations... Now speaking of caring where the money go - I think we donated for the same reason, to help the server, and thus, to help the community. I just realized that best way to do so is to keep Taran around. Actually, if he was spending money on himself instead of IN he'd most likely stick around for longer, because when people are given something , they are trying to give something in return. Decent people that is, these don't like to feel somewhat "indebted"(indebted is not exactly what i mean, but my english skills are very limitted). But since Taran actually purchased banners to advertise for the shard and spent all the money on it, his conscience is clear and it wasn't holding him around.

Again, please, speak for yourself. You said the server was given to him... You've given it ? No. Actually, nobody did. There was a guy that held Taran's position in very beginning and who did a lot of work for the shard as well. When he had to move on he picked Taran to replace him. That was 5 years ago, and since then Taran administrated it. A lot of people helped him throughout these years. And no, I don't mean players that were gaming, I mean developers. Server indeed cannot exist without players, but to make a shard you need a developers, while all the real help that users provide is that they help with finding errors, so these developers can fix it. But then again, players here weren't exactly beta testers and they weren't specially spending their time just to find bugs... And I'm 99.999999999% sure that these dev's wouldn't have anything against Taran doing whatever he likes with the shard. Most of these dev's are still around, btw. So why the hell you speak for them?

And yeah, he has 283$ left. Since rest of the money were spent on the server, lets imagine these 283$ are part of the money that I donated. You don't have to worry about your cash, it was spent on banners man.

Btw, and I think we should keep the forums around. There's plenty of nice people that I'd like to keep the touch with. If anything, maybe just block the people that aren't nice? xd

Your analogy is bad and you should feel bad.

Yes I'm the only one that feels the way I do...just cause u can write a wall of text doesn't me how I feel doesn't matter...

So the admin before him passed it on to him wants the problem of him doing the same ?

Cause we have a different opinion doesn't mean I'm bringing mean...this is another reason people left...you can't say shit here without being labeled something stupid...which honestly I don't really care what u call me...ill voice my opion if u like it or not..

And I'm a leecher that's just great cause I want somethig to stick around with no good reason other than he sick of the comminty and uo that makes I t my fault...

And why would it have even mattered t the shard opened to begin with if it just shuts down...its a complete waisted of time...

And u know what maybe it was your money he already spent...everyone says it a donation but yet you yourself use it like its all your money give me a break...

And I'm pretty sure when the whole banner thing was brought up people wanted a new connection not ****ing banners what did the banners do nothing.

I guess I totally understand where everyone from before came from...and why they left to begin with...there's a small group that think they are the elite and feel like they can just shit on anyone with a different opinion....

Oh well, nevermind man. I apologize if I offended you by my post, but I was simply stating my opinion too. The thing is, neither of our opinions regarding the shutting down issue matters, as noone of us two was spending the time to create this place. But in my opinion your opinion not only don't matter, it also suck.
