I minimized my UO window for 15 minutes while watching a movie and I lose everything. I just had to have 3 plates put in my face (among other shit) so I've been home off work for 3 weeks. I start playing UO again and find this place. I macroed mining for 2 weeks and my skill gets set to 0 from GM, I lose all my hard earned ingots and I get jailed without a reply from staff. I've been checked on multiples times to see if I was AFK when I wasn't. One strike your out?

You can type "jailtime" to see why you were jailed. The reason you are in jail is because you had a macro that automatically went and ressed when you died and that could even finish the maze automatically (we are fixing that). This is what Bushido wrote in the staff forums:

So it's far from one strike you're out. In this case it's more like 5 strikes and you're out. Even if it's true that you only went away from 15 mins (which is still not allowed) you still have a script that's specifically meant to avoid the AFK check and since we don't know how much you have used it we have to remove all your ingots and set your mining skill to 0.
This has already happened to a few other players and the same fate met them.

meh, I quit anyways and took my guides down
on a side note the part of my script that ran through your maze was 12 lines and took 3 mins

It's a shame that ingenuity didn't go towards playing within the rules.

That is same that somene would quit over that.... oh well.... leaves the bs/ingot market looking better for players trying to gm the skills!

Yeah I wasn't AFK mining though, I just made a script that allowed me to do it.
I was tired of having to run the maze over and over to test the res portion of my script so I could post it (without the maze part)

The rationalizations people go through when they are caught blatantly cheating astound me. AFK macroing for resource gathering and using scripts to avoid the consequences of the AFK gathering gump (e.g. auto-ressing, as you just admitted in your very last post) are illegal. You aren't making a principled stand by quitting, you're just throwing the baby out with the bath water.
