Market gets more and more flooded
#1

The prices even for vanq get really low.
I think that system where nearly every mob can drop a silver weapon crystal is way too much , the marked seems highly flooded by magic weapons.
Even i got my bank full of every kind of vanq weapon only taken by my own means , and maybe some ridiculous cheap buys from player vendors.
On osi and other servers , there were only certain kind of hotspots for mobs who had a even a low possibility of droppen power an vanq.
Lvl 1 & 2 Treasure maps drop vanq and power and invul armor too , i think there needs to be done some major balancing too.
I know the lacking valid dexxers build on this server make em less important anyway , but even 2handed weapons for the tankmage standart of this servers are there in abadundance.

I just feel that even when power and vanq weapons get mass ware that it makes monster hunting and higher treasure chest hunting less interesting.

Also , i think the durability on things are too high , at least for weapons , armor not so much but its fully repairable.
IMHO stuff should break or get worse after a certain amount of repairs.

[COLOR="#B22222"]I disagree with all of that, you must be talking about silver weapon also, wich only deal 75% of actualy damage to other players, not worth buying in my opinion wich is why it sell at top for 5k if suppremely of vanq. Melee is really underated right now and normal weapon of vanq arent that common tbh. Well I wish you good luck with whatever plan you had.

I did not know that they dealt 75% but still.
Even then i think that a vanq silver weapon is too strong to aquired so easy , test the damage of a silver vanq hally and you can still do very powerful hits.
And there is still the thing with the treasure chest which drop them even on low lvls.
Thats why i got load of them already too.

if you read... melee weps are underrated
#5

Pretty much silver weapons = hunting regular weapons = pvp

Yeah i read that , and that should not be that way.
But still , whats your point in your argument against my critisism about them being way too easy to get?

And btw , i would suggest to improve the importance of melee and focussing on making viable melee builds via an improved influence of dex , but if i would post everything that bothers me here i would create whole forum pages of my post ( and since the staff has lives too ,would make a bad impression demanding so much).

ya they are already looking into weapons

You may have a lot of silver vanq weapons but they arent worth anything, and are they all suppremely of vanq? if not then they only worth about 1-2k at MOST.

Anybody knowing the fact that silver weapon onyl deal 75% damage in pvp will not acquire one of theses weapon unless he is poor or dont mind the 25%.

That's a pretty bad example you swing any weapon bardiche battle axe double axe etc irl the person would die even a dagger in the right spot you can't compare UO to real life experiences lol

In pvp you use melee weapons at the moment to create a better chance to fs someone down (if you initial spellattack failed) , and you can chop away enough hp with a normal ruin hally already.
Also i testet a silver vanq today on a buddy with 34 ar (not really much i know) , but still , i made 60dmg with one hit , cant imagine thats so weak?
Maybe those 75 % damage are a myth? As far as i know from old shard the addition silver meant just bonus dmg against UNDEAD mobs.
Any official source for that?

You would be surprised, as a security agent in real life I had to work in some hospital and let me tell you the the human kind arent easily killed. You can be mutilated, cut, pierced and well all sort of very bad stuff can happen to you but the human body is stronger than what people think.

It was a critical hit, it happen very rarely. It would probably have done the same ammount of damage with a vanquishing one or close to. and yeah 34 armor is like Undecided when I hunt either pvp or pvm I have around 50-80 depending the situation. Well mail Taran if you insist to receive confirmation but I would most likely tend believe it. Why would they distribute so many vanq silver if it was stronger than normal vanq weapon, this is just not logic.
