I really Like precasting
That re the best ganks....
The no pvp-fizzle isnt the Problem for me, but that i could cast with scrolls and so i need 2 sec. für a Kal Vas Flame thats shit. In my opinion and thats just my und you dont have to think like my, this is the worest pvp i ever saw in over 10 Years UO. With Mana Pods i can use a Cambo with 3 Flamestrikes in 6 Seconds, what is that Kind of PvP Style?
And if you Start here on the server your Young Status is really short and you dont have money for alle the pvp stuff you need here and so you die die die die and die the first times. I dont wanna say make fizzle pvp but, in my creapy opinion you have to do a lot with this Pvp Style here...

We do intend to make changes Rokat, both to the cost and the mechanics of PvP. Also bear in mind that scroll FS is not as much damage as the FS cast from the spellbook, so whilst it may look the same it isn't the same as doing 3 "real" FSes in 6 seconds.

Scare crow Wrote:Just fix these things and Pvp will be perfect.
Weapon damage
Shield damage absorb
3 consecutive hit max without disarming
FS should do 46 damage and use more mana
IN scrolls should be implemented which are a mimic of FS scrolls but drain life instead of mana (creates counters in PVp)
Poison is wack / too strong
Shouldn't be able to paralyze in duels.
Auto-lock all players to 100 Str/dex/stam
If these things get fixed. I can assure you guys 100% that the PVP will be ridiculous and fast paced. Just need to fix it sooner rather than later because Diablo 3 is coming out. I'm not trying to be an ******* but I know that several players are already talking about it. Let's try and fix these things before the release of diablo.
Thanks.
You forgot lightning damage, GH scroll precast mana consumption and few other minor details. Still, you could have just said bring back XUO pvp system
To be honest, if there's a choice between current system and XUO system, I think XUO system (on INX) was balanced better. I wouldn't say XUO pvp style requires no skill (it does, or why would it be always the same people winning) but I have to say it's a bit simplistic. I think you either need a completely new system or if you want .51a sphere style go back to XUO mechanics. That's as refined as .51a gameplay with all it's flaws can get. I'd prefer to have something completely different (maybe OSI style precast) but that's out of the question since that'd require a skill cap and big changes like that won't happen.

Why doesnt IN make a sister, (dialed in) fizzle shard, and transfer our chars over?
We could then end these threads that always seem to go nowhere.... and avoid losing players

I fear that may just result in 2 dead shards...
That would cut the activity on the shard in half, and give us two shards with like ~70 active clients, which will in turn make people quit because they don't get enough action.. simply cause its not enough active players around. I'd rather have a 150 player shard with one PvP style than two shards with 75 players.
I think this fizzle arena is probably the best compromise the staff can do. Perhaps they could start making some fizzle pvp-tourneys too, but that's probably it. I still think that's a pretty good compromise to be honest.

Kander Wrote:It would be nice to see some of yall fight in a 7xGm 225 stat cap server. Where you have to time your hally swings just right and you cant chug pots and use scrolls to save mana. Being one a none skill cap server you dont have a class system to fit in with your pvp. As it is right now it pure mage with a lucky hally roll and runing back and forth back and forth.
Nerf the FS scrolls / edit the weps / add fizzle when a player is hit via wep / arrow. Then this would be a kick ass pvp setting. Every thing on this server is kick ass compared to some other servers just not the pvp. LONG LIVE EXPLO , EBOLT , HALLY HIT combos!!!
PS.... Make it where you cant move while casting would make it even funner!
plz stfu.....

I don't want to change the PvP completely because this isn't XUO but I agree the PvP was way more balanced on IN-X I would be happy even if they didn't implant XUO scrolls and just had NOS ones

Just saying, if good loot isn't added to the server, ganks will still be boring. The whole point of killing people is to take their loot, so how come whenever someone drops the first thing people take are mana pots and scrolls? It's because there's no such thing as good items here. The only 'good' items are ridiculously hard to craft and under powered for their cost, therefore nobody uses them to fight.
If you want to see this PvP become fun, ITEMS need to be added which give you PvP advantages... That's all there is to it.
This wouldn't ever give rich players an edge, because it's still quite possible to gank someone who is wearing expensive loot. If someone is wearing expensive loot, that actually gives more incentive for people to want to drop that person...
