Anyone stumble onto a good Stealing macro for either Razor or Injection?? been playing around with one a little bit but its painfully slow and not even sure if its working...
Any staff members know if stealing is still based on how many stones the item your stealing is compared to your stealing skill level? Example: used to be if your 60% stealing, steal items that are 6 stones or 70% stealing items that are 7 stones, etc..
Any input would be appreciated.. Where are all the thiefs at?? xD

I found using gold to be pretty effective. A couple piles of 60k and everything anything else I could fit on the pack lama got me to gm.

I was training on a pack horse, using the all guard me command....and was using a raw cut rib (its the first thing i could find). It was gaining effectively, although I eventually deleted that character.
I think its all repetition based like any other skill here, despite the weight.
I also tried on a pack llama and seemed to get 0 skillgains....not sure if the animal type has something to do with it.
The macro was very simple and looked something like this:
(have your pack and the pack horses pack open...have the pack horse guarding you)
Use skill>stealing>absolute target(which would be the item)>wait 4s>drag same item to xxx location (the pack horses bag)>wait 1s>loop

worked wonders for me... all instructions are there!
it will even tame back your animal if it decides to "leave you"...

Stealing takes a while. Place an item in the backpack of the pack animal. Begin recording and attempt to steal the item, if it's successful drag the item back into the pack animal's bag, if it's not successful stop recording. If you failed to steal the item then place the item into your backpack and begin recording after your last action. Drag the item into your pack animal's backpack and then stop recording. Change the items over to target type.
Now, about animals going wild on you. Remembering back to my days on OSI I knew that giving a command to an animal increased its level of happiness. I decided to try it here and my pack remained wonderfully happy the whole time. As long as you stay within sight of your animal and it doesn't ignore you a bunch of times you will find your animal remaining wonderfully happy throughout the duration of your time gaining. I simply set it to say "all stay" when I failed to steal the item. I am not 100% sure it works exactly like that here, but I have my reward cloak so I am not complaining.
