Yo,im playing highstakes poker lately and something should definitely change. The rake that we pay is too high.I played with someone this morning he had 20k i had 100k,after 10 minutes i win our all in pot. He had 0$ i had 93k.lol something wrong there,maybe put the rake aside and give it to the poker week champion lol. Poker tourny would be nice too. Anyway im jsut giving suggestions and im pretty sure im not the only degenerate gambler out there lol.Guys post some suggestion cuz we love the Highstakes poker

I lowered it, should be better now. Max rake is still at 20k though.

why?? 20k is insane. why not taking rake off? its a play money poker anyway lol. its not like we were playing real money...

I think there should be a fee for playing but it's too much right now maybe 10% per every round won? that way if you win 50k you only lose out on 5k or something like that.

Well, we are using there table so I think there should be a fee just not that much. Also adding a spectator function would be awesome

i agree for teh spectator function. but there is a problem with the table at this moment.me and hiroshima are trying to play but its bugged

Good suggestion Spectator function would be awesome, and yes I also agree on a fee but yeah it's still too high in my opinion. The "casino" should get something for hosting it (and it's good for the economy of the shard) but I still think its a bit too high.

I don't really like the idea of having a fee :/ Seems counterproductive to me. Why should house get a pice of your winnings? You are doing all the work

im not a big fan of fee either,since fee is normally apply when its a real cash game online or live. since we are playing with 'play money' i dont think fee is a must + i think there willl be more players without fee. and taran,the highstakes poker table is currently bugg,fix?

I think the fee is set to 5% now meaning you will only hit the max rake if the pot is 400k, in which case 20k isn't that much really.
This script was created by someone on the RunUO forums, you would have to ask that person for a spectator function

Rake exist everywhere(PokerStars, FullTiltPoker aren't exceptions btw). Rake varies from 5% to 10% usually with a certain amount of peak. Exactly like we got it here, 20k is a peak. These are rules...

Why fee exists on these websites? because they make money this way (mainly, if you don't count all the money they make when you cash-in and cash-out)

Here rake is perfect money sink for Taran. I think even casino slots weren't as good money sink as rake I think we should still have it... maybe at lower percentage rate than irl though...

P.S. It's not a house who gets a %, it's a dealer that works for you. No rake is only when the players toss cards themselves, theres Dealer button for a reason btw. I'm not sure if there a possible way to make players toss cards themselves. I guess it could be possible to make additional table without rake with 2 minute pauses between rounds. Would like to see which table players would prefer;p
