Bumpin this thread because I'm looking into making some stuff electronically for various project. Anyone use any specific software for putting together loops and whatnot? From the limited experience I've had so far, I remember switching between different programs to get the desired effects a lot. :/
I've got Cakewalk Sonar X1 Producer now. Lets not worry about where it came from.

I play electric guitar, mostly thrash/heavy metal. I guess I could also mention that my interest in (Jackson USA) guitars is at least as big as playing them.

Fruity Loops is good for that purpose. I think it's easier to get a hold on than Cakewalk too.

You Fins and your metal, I love it!
Fruity Loops is awesome though, last time I installed it I remember it being a fairly small file size as well.
