Mystic, And thats understandable.. But it doesnt matter what decision you do because you will rarely have a fair fight. This style of pvp doesnt instigate 1v1 to see who is better. It instigates nothing but ganking. Im not going anywheres.. not for a while.. I will adjust. But Id like to see these guys adjust as well.. but sense this is the only shard that has anything ok going for it.. Im forced to play it, or make my own server or play no uo at all.

Hey scarecrow.. ive been here for 4 days.. I have been pked once.. I have 5 macros set, and btw you inexperienced prick, Its not hard to change the pvp system... Wanna know how I know this.. Because Ive done it personally on other shards Ive staffed. And im not intimidating, Im telling the truth.. You and your guild are shitting bricks for the fact if Real pvp comes along you will quit because you obviously cant hack it 1V1.. And if your so good at pvp.. And once I start pvping, we will have staff host us a 1v1.. And once I rape you, You can cry all you want. You my friend are no wheres near my level. Ive met players like you.. And each time they go in hiding once people like myself get done macroing. I will beat you in any type of pvp. You are your little two handful of buddies can keep bashing this idea because you damn well know you aint shit.. I am surveying the server in game and so far I found a bunch of people Would like to see a fizzle system put in, but they dont post on the forums, OR they dont care cause they dont pvp. And thats the truth!. So go ahead tell me im crying.. But you look like a ***** right now scared shitless that a revolution might happen

On a serious note have you tried a 1v1 fight in bet rings or tourneys? What is not fair about the fight exactly? In all honesty I don't understand how it instigates ganking if you could further explain your opinion on that

edit: What's also funny is these are the same guys that said "ganking isn't hard", yet they have yet to proven them selves in any way or have yet to show some sort of skill level that you speak of. Instead they come on the forums and just complain and throw threats on the forums.. Like I said before learn the PvP it's not hard it's fun and balanced before speaking of things you don't know of or want changed..

Can't blame people for being in guilds ganking cus everyone does that in UO and that's with any shard :/. I don't know where you have been but you can find people to 1v1 if you are in the right areas but brit bridge is not one of them. Some pvpers will honor 1v1 fights too

This gave me an awesome idea. My sister got me to read some 'kids' book called Hunger Games where they take a bunch of people, turn them loose in a large area, then the last person alive wins it. This might be kindof fun actually. In the book it works like this:

• People enter with no weapons (just clothing)
  
• Weapons and reagents are scattered around the entry area and a few others may be scattered around elsewhere.
  
• Once people are turned loose, they either run like crazy to the woods to hide, or they stick around the main area to fight for the best gear.
  
• Last person alive wins.

It might be cool to do that with everyone fully equipped also. Drop everyone in the same area in a cage, then after a countdown, the safe area is turned off and the fences disappear to let everryone loose.

Actually there was a very similar event that was hosted on IN a few times.. One of the cooler ones. Kind of like what you described but there was a lot more too it. Also this was a looong event. The 2 times I was in it it lasted something like 4-6 hours.

There were 2-4 teams ranging from 10-20 people. Each team needed crafters, harvesters and pvpers. Once the teams were made each player was assigned a role. People designated as crafters and harvesters were each given a specific couple of tools so you could go out and harvest materials you needed in order to craft items that you would use to fight and kill the other players. If a player designated to a specific role died then another player could switch to that role. To give the pvpers something useful to do while the rest got supplies, monsters were placed around that could drop useful items (regs, blank scrolls, magic weapons etc) and also were randomly spawned right near the camps so they would have to be fended off...

It was neat because you had to optimize as best you could in a given time so you could start raids. So elven bows were useful because armor was harder to make, but the people that did manage to get armor could run up and smash things with swords/hallies.. And you had casters and such trying to make the most of their precious few regs/scrolls running in and trying to finish people off

There was more involved but i forget.. Was a long time ago. I thought this was neat as it forced teams to not just have pvpers.. And the pvpers had to protect the crafters or they were doomed... Anyway, this could be tweaked and changed accordingly and made into some kind of event as well.. Just an idea.

Mystic Your a reasonable person.. I like that.. Scarecrow.. Keep thinking that.. and Smoke.. Lags is one of the biggest legends in the world of sphere PvP... Him and Trinket were one of the best duos to ever come about in Ultima. But as far as making threats.. No one is making threats. Im staying.. The fact that I dont understand this pvp yet but I know im better than alot of people.. makes me wanna stay.. Once I adapt, I will be good to go. Untill than Im not gonna talk shit.. I expect to get owned.. Its what happens. But I have been pvping the same way for 12 years on so many different servers.. Untill a new one opens up with a good economy, IN is my home
