Magical rings?
#1

after killing and killing and collecting many items i cant help but notice that there are no magical rings or magical gear that gives beneficial buffs or + to attributes, with the exception of the differant levels of accurate weapons. Have i not dug far enough or is this somthing that has been left out? Thanks

Our objective is to have a shard very similar to what was Imagine Nation 1, a Sphere 0.51a shard and so pre-aos. Those magicals rings came along with the AOS so they have been left out.

Cheers

Would be nice to see the highest level craftable armors give +5 str or int or dex depending on the armor type. +1 str per piece minus helmet Wink
#4

Or even if a GM tinker that can make jewelery have a small chance for some random stat or off the wall bonus. lol
#5

well i wasnt thinking about AOS items i was thinking about custom magical items.......... i love to see vast veriety of differant items.
#6

such as items that are able to cast spells somewhat like a wand i suppose. (Gloves of paralyze, Platemail Helmet of night sight, Boots of speed, etc)
#7

There are already wands, and there are 'arcane boots' which allow you to cast 20 spells without regs.

Arcane items dont work

l000l Shad the buzzkill xD
I agree that i like lots of variety and items, but shit gets funky when you start adding a lot of stats/skills to things. I think as long as it stays at low quantities it'd be nice. Like make it exclusive to jewelry for +1 of a stat, so you'd have a bracer, earrings, and necklace that could give +3 cummulative, and obviously you'd have to sacrifice a gorget for the necklace, so maybe make it +2
I actually would like to see RP-relevant items be craftable, for example: A wizard hat that gives +5 magery and +5 int or something (which would obviously take some rare items to craft) and things along these lines.

I think the ring should turn you invisible when you put it on, but every time you do an evil eye in a tower can see you until a bearded GM comes by and tells you it's an evil ring that has to be destroyed, so you team up with some members of [Dwarf] [Elven] and some normal humans, then go walking across the lost lands to the fire dungeon so you can throw it into some lava while some PKs in black death shrouds follow you on blackrock mustangs. One of the humans will die on the way, then when it's done the GM will teleport you back to Britain for tea and cakes, leaving you wondering why the hell he didn't do that to get you to the fire dungeon before your friend had to die.
