I did that just then, also followed the instructions as it says. When I click the IN-X Patcher.exe, it comes up with a message saying "There is a newer version of In-X patcher, the patcher will now update. After that nothing happens, and buildings, well I still can't see...

Try running it with admin rights if you have windows 7 or vista.
