Cool idea, fits in with the hunters lodge area I explained a while back where you can go there and organize competitions.

Only problem I see with the coins being bound to one person or automatically going in their pack, is if you are 2-3 people working together, is it only the person who gives the killing blow that gets coins, or would it be proportional to the amount of damage you give to the monster? Example: a dragon gives 200 coins, one player does 50% damage to it, two other players do 25% damage each. Who gets the coins and how much?... Same problem with a monster killbook. I'm sure someone clever will figure out a solution where everyone gets some credit for the work they've done though Wink

If you do like malik said its not a problem, when have two people killing a monster both get same amount of fame and karma if they did some decent damage on the monster, so works the same for the tokens.
I know its possible, I already played on a shard with a system like that.

I think if a dragon give 100, both people had to receive 100, no split on that.

Shade Wrote:Hm that kind of gave me an idea. Not about stupid coins or anything but a pvm kill book. It could track your monster kills.
Maybe I am getting ahead of myself but, we could use it for pvm events. Like once a month we could say "help keep the goblin population under control" and and the books would keep track of the kills so at the end of the month we could just see who the winner is.
Be cool if we could have a scoreboard added on the site too, displaying the person who has killed the most mobs. Which could receive a reward too.

I played on a shard that had a tracking system like this... totally awesome. Kill book is a great idea. It would track only monsters you've killed, but would list the #. Awesome.

Forget coins, just assign a value for each mob like Samurai suggested, that's a great combination.

Don't know if coins is good. I think it's a great idea thought. It should be something simple to where you don't see anything. Another words you don't have a book or a coin. Just like karma or fame if you kill something you get a pvm kill count. Harder monsters should be more then 1 point so there should be some kind of table in place for points. And like the pvp ladder there should be a pvm ladder. And once a month or what not you can give the top 3 a random award or something. I don't however think it should be a coin or a book that you get I think it should just be automatic when you kill it.
