Wow, and pit's aren't care bear? at least you can be killed banking in your house, the pits and duel stones are what is ruining this shard takes away from the city's why go to Britain when you can hang out without being killed in the pits, you guys make absolutely 0 ****ing sense. fyi ur the one not making any sense, there is a greater chance to be killed at a town bank then there is at a house since u would have to find the house which can be placed anywhere and moved anywhere once it's found.

The pits are carebear...

I never agreed or refused to the idea of adding the pits at the beginning of the shard, i stood neutral because even tho i was used to the pits (in every shard i´ve played before they were pits) to me they were unnecesary .... when i tryed out a shard without pits i felt like something was missing... like it was lonely and it was a pain to find people around...... maybe this is the way people from xuo feel, they like pits because it´was easy to find and interact with the people. not having to waste any resource/time to travel to Common places like mines or cities.

I understand why you like pits guys, i come from xuo too.. i love pits so much and they are so much funnn, i love getting geared up with r/rs and my best armors and my pimp clothes in pits just to show off, i love when you see a bunch of pks in pits rdy to go enter occlo, and your rdy to follow them and join the war that its about to take place, really it makes the adrenaline go up like crazy it´s a good feeling :p.... but they are not that necesary

Without pits the comunity would be very separated , just think its hard to keep on touch with players nowdays, imagine without pits...

And Originaly the Pits or more known as "Idle Area" , was created in the original xuo and all the clones it came from as only a idle area, meaning a safe place where you could left your char online and could interact with the other players.... they were no pads to towns, no vendors no shops . All that was added in time because people requested them

Clearly everyone has different views on what carebear is but everyone seems to be against it. Maybe we should add perma death? That way nothing on this shard could ever be considered carebear :icon_twisted:

I get that we all have different view points and ideas on what will help or be bad and that is great but you guys need to tone it down a bit. Debating ideas with sound points behind it is fine but going back and forth with cursing and insults is not going to get anywhere. For the sake of the shard, if you truly care, try to converse with each other with a bit of respect for each other as you are all part of the same community, even if you don't like certain people.

Lies I barely remember anything from original nov-us, since it was 10 years ago, but I'm pretty sure we had pits there. Even if we didn't, then it 100% was on alphanine in 2001-02

edit: And btw, it was already called "Duel Pits" those days.
