try without using ctrl+shift

well using ctrl shift is an easy and good way to cut people, i myself use it.. if it's happening becuase of this there should be a fix =/

yep this is lame as who knows what, died around 3 gms to this bug using ctrl shift to cut (also died in a house so it was unresable by my partner) and since it was a bug i asked for my items to be replaced only an ice chest and a blank rune (since i had a rune to papua) and instead of saying sorry of the bug, they say no sorry we don't know if you used a script or not. So instead it turnned into an interragation and then they insulted me because i was whinning that i died. But if this happens in the future when someone is wearing some good and they cut and die becuase of it that would be even more extremely lame.

I don't care about the items really it's just the principal that's just so messed up i bet if someone not even as half as good as me tryed to cut in a gank they wouldn't of been interragated like that.. I feel that's harassment to me and it's really getting annoying.

There were many witnesses you can ask them if you don't believe me

and again i don't want people flamming at me and saying im crying it's just the principal thats messed up and i'm tired of being harassed by insults by other gms that's why i'm posting it for another gm to see.

That's not how things work, Smoke.To understand the situation fully you need to see our side of the problem. I'll try to explain to you so you'll know in the future why we can't just replace your items or why this issue remains unfixed.

Why it's not fixed yet: Only recently I became aware of this issue and I've been really busy so I haven't had any time whatsoever to take a look at it yet. This issue will be looked into when I have time to do so but there are other things that take priority. Expect me to have more time after 15th when I've finished my exams.

Why your items weren't replaced: We are still in beta. Things like this are bound to happen. Since you didn't even care about the items no harm done, right? If something valuable is actually lost we do take a look at it and see if we can do something about it.

What should you do if you want this issue fixed faster: Report every time this issue occurs. It only takes you a few minutes to do so and might help tracking down the bug when I get to finding the cause. I think I might know what's wrong with the cutting script and if it turns out to be what I think it is thanks go out to Lederoil for leading me to right track. With hard to track bugs a lot of the time is spent testing so if players would bother to report issues when they see them it would help alot. Just saying: "I died, fix this shit!", isn't very helpful. Tell in as much detail as you can what happened.

Personal note: You didn't lose anything that you cared about anyway... As of late, I'm really starting to feel like just probably spending my upcoming freetime doing something else than fixing bugs for ungrateful bunch of people who do nothing but complain no matter what (doesn't apply to everyone ofcourse). I've lately seen some other staff members starting to burn out too. We are here to help you, not to make your gaming experience harder. I wasn't interrogating you, I was asking information that might help me track down the cause of this bug. Why the attitude?

It's the pricinipal though I bet if someone who wasn't good at pvp wouldn't have gotten acused of autocutting.. I lost 500 gp at max really an ice platemail chest and a rune to papua but that's not the prinicipal what is, is i find that no staff believes me and always acusses me of stuff and this happens often and it's really annyoing. Not to mention shade and jackal had no right to insult me like they did, (shade has been doing it for a while now and jackal this is the first time i see him starting to tell me to cry etc) I mean that's just bad and inaproppriate behavior.. Either way I've been told to take a screen shot next time i'm being harassed and send it to taran and tell him to check the logs for the conversation by another GM, because frankly this is really annoying and it's coming to the point where i dont even want to play anymore it's why Scarecrow left he told me and luda also finds this annoying..

it happened to technique again when he cut after killing el fetchatoris near brit bridge this evening. not sure if he used ctrl+shift or just clicked on body w/out ctrl+shift, just thought i'd report it.

If you press ctrl shift and cut at any time you die.. it's really freaking lame. Also so what if i press ctrl shift and then press my macro i still have to click on the body with all names around it.. All the other person has to do to get resed ish it tab and spam a button so i don't see where your going?

I dont think scarecrow would leave because of people making fun of him or harassing w.e.. Maybe because theres not much action.

I must've been tired when I made that comment. Anyways after trying out ctrl + shift I take back my last post and say that if it causes u to get killed for autolooting then it's obviously some bug, and we will have to look into it.

I didn't demand for any items i asked if i can get them back and i was a little confused of why i wouldn't be able to get them back seeing as it's been posted as a bug already.. it's 500 gp i don't really care but like i said it's the principal that counts, I also doubt you're sorry for the insult you've made out to be becuase revealing youself and telling me to cry and stop complanning is completely out of line. Also i never said you in particualar said i was using a script 1/3 gms said i did. The reason i act like this is because i don't get heard then another gm trys it and ohh there we go there is a bug you see what i mean?

either way i'm done with this nonsense if people harassing me calling me a baby for having my own opinion from now on i'll just take a screen shot and report it because it's incredibly annoying becuase if we say something inappropriate back we would either get banned from someones events or even worse jailed
