People are getting used to events too much..... and that's no good
we don't have to make an event EVERYDAY really, people should hang by themselves like Taran said, and not depend on staff to have fun

its not that we're dependent, its wut madman said....
hell yesterday only about 5-7 ppl were ganking in occlo and then when that stopped ppl were just sitting around doing nothing. (Props to Shade for trying to msg saying to gank lol)
hell I was able to just stand in occlo with technqiue and talk.
I think technique made this topic cuz when we finally reached the 40-50 mark this weekend, he meant to say that there wasn't a full representation of IN-X and what happens since no event happened then. Thus it being more of an incentive for ppl to play/macro/gather items/gank for the new ppl.
Nice day today, just two simple events brought the playerbase back to 42 players.. and that was less than 2 hours of time

I'd like to point out that you need to be more careful with your data. People are just saying, "look we have a tournament and therefore more people are online." Sure it's not, "oh look there are lots of people online, let's have a tournament"? Some days are just slower than others.
Tiesto's CTF for example... before the CTF there were 41 on... during CTF 38. Unless this shard had a population of 1500, and say it went down drastically to 500, could you draw the conclusion that the main driving force of players being online at that time was because there are staffers and tournaments.
Get some real hard data and don't just draw general conclusions that push the argument the way you want it to

The reason the shard went up to 40 players was because there was events so people logged on to join... gang bang and sylar logged off, theres your 2 people, they dont like ctf. Thats the data brother.
