Perhaps we could add a bonus to players who vote in game through the vote stones. It could be something as small as a 1k gold pile or 100 logs. It'd be nice to have something to get the players motivated and get us moved up in the polls. We have been getting loads of new players and the shard population is way up. This could help us reach the population mark we deserve.

It's a good idea but unfortunately it's now allowed.
The rules on the topsites states that you are only allowed to have links on your website, nothing ingame.

Any way you can get credit between forums and game via your IP? Maybe set it up sort've the way the antimacro gump works, but linking it in game through the website?

It would be imperative for there to be some sort of reward for players who consistently vote in order to bring the server to higher ranks in the top servers. With greater visibility, comes a larger player base. The voting the way it is now will only draw the players who are extremely dedicated to the server and wish for it to grow. However, the occasional player would have no interest. Thus, it would be in the benefit of the server to have some reward token. Ranging from what Sam said, monetary rewards, or even custom items.

Well I'm not sure that's allowed either Rabbi, I think it said that any kind of reward in game is not allowed.

Could you post a link of where the rules could be found? I want to just take a quick look at it to see if there are any loop holes


EDIT: Well i was able to find one of the rules for the voting sites, couldn't locate the others. This is for Xtreme 100:

# We no longer allow websites that contains hack or cracks, or any kind of software that manipulates any kind of programs.
# NO Script's allowed for incoming Hit's.
# The Counter's will be reset periodicallyIn/Out resets every 30 days.
# Cheating will get you banned for good.
# Any kind of force voting is illegal... no one should have to vote before entering your website, anyone using will have their account cancelled without warning!

I dont quite understand the second rule. Does that mean that you cannot have a program that votes for the site or something? Aside from that rule. I don't see any problem with in-game rewards. Mind you, i didnt find the others. So if you can find where they are, I'd like to take a look at them.
