South West Florida, USA is my area and I havent tested my ping on any of the IPs but if there is one in the USA I am down for that one. As for donations I have donated to other shards like ABC UO 650.00 in about 4 months and Eternity UO and Hybrid UO pretty much the same thing within the same time frame. I would be willing to donate for items such as Tubs, Mounts, Clothes, Decorations ect. as long as they were not able to be sold to change the economy.

I am completely against the idea of getting items for donating. You donate to a server as appreciation for the work put in by the staff.

It's not fair to let a 30 year old man essentially buy items and kick ass over a 13 year old kid who can't even get a part time job to go to a movie with friends, let alone pay to help support a server... UO will no longer be about your skill level (or free time), it will be based on how much money you have and that's just wrong...

Everybody should have an equal chance at getting something, and you know someone who hasn't donated (possibly because they can't and not that they don't want to) will want that cool deco you have but they just can't get it...

Well Eighty, where in there did I mention Vanq hallys, scroll, pots, armor for real cash? The donating for the items I mentioned is a great idea. It doesnt put anyone ahead of anyone. It simply makes people like myself who have extra cash to burn that dont mind donating, especially if they get something in return. I think you will find alot more people donating if a few items were offered

well i don't really care if you get items or not when you donate becuase, i wouldn't donate personally for the items. although i can't donate for the shard either =/ Either way imo to spend money on a game is just not worth it

Well i wouldnt donate for the sole purpose of getting items but it would surely influence it. Ask Shade he is proof me supporting all the shards I play on.

While it's great that you're willing to donate Papa Smurf, not everyone is interested in being the best PVPer and some people love decorating houses and making kick ass houses, getting cool decorations, looking pimp in cool colors from tubs etc. So it does give you an edge over others, you get something they can't.

By the way Taran, how much are we talking to buy a new computer out right? I'm talking new CPU's, mobo, case, fans, video cards, ram, hds, etc. What would it cost us to buy a 100% brand new system for all of time and then we never pay 1 cent again, like now?

I am a horrible pvper (for now) this has nothing to do with being a pvper. I am saying if the shard had a system like the few other shards out there (within reason) with the only benefit being looking cool or having your house look nice. Then I feel that would be a comfortable medium for both the shard and the donators.

Yeah, I wouldnt want anything that would change the economy just something that makes the player and or house look cool.
