This might be a crap idea, but I was stoned out my nut when I thought about it so thats my excuse.

What about a tourney where everyone starts mounted on nightmares, FFA style in a farly big open area, while mounted they can only use weapons to inflict damage, and only weapons do damage against them. Also they cant heal in any way. Once someone "dies" they fall off mount, still alive at full health just no mount. Now they can use magic (but not against mounted people), and the mount turns into an EV or something and runs about attacking random people. So the mounted people can now still hit the unmounted people, but cant be FS'd, cant heal either tho. Eventually everyone will be unmounted and all these mounts will be running around pwning people. Provocation would prolly be helpful for this
