hello hows it going, cant wait to get started how is skill gain and are there lots of reds?

Skill gains are pretty easy and are based entirely on repetition. (Daggers to GM smithy, level 1 potions for alchemy, etc.) GMing craft skills can be a pain because you have to farm up materials to macro with.

I haven't seen a lot of reds out ganking, but I always see them in the duel pits or at the tournaments.

Just to clarify on the skill gains, I think they are easy but some people find them difficult. Basically combat gains go much faster than crafting skills. If you are here to fight, it should not take very long to get a character up to speed.

Took about a week to 12x gm for me, but I'm still not GM resist or tactics or any weapon skill. Skillgain here is slow though, when compared to a lot of other shards. Personally I like that, it makes being a gm actually mean something. I think the reason it seems harder to get skills here is because of a lack of bugs. On the old sphere shards it was like, you could gm every weapon skill and tactics the first day just by attacking an npc, running 3 screens away and looping attacklast 100ms delay. Or gm magery by tabbing out of every cast so no mana was used.

I'm definitely not excited about doing tradeskills though, from a brief sampling of smithing I did, I just think it kinda crosses the border of just being too much. But it makes the people who gm it very valuble in the community, so you cant really deny the slow gains serves its purpose

Blacksmith is a pain... 25k from 73.4 to 77.1 , anyways I like it.
