I dont think Shai is Lederoil.. Another thing. Shai is useless right now because hes not GM yet.

Shade hosts from time to time, hes hosting more recently.

When Shade first started yes he was useless but im kind of seeing a change.

Shade hosted a 1v1 rep and 2 ctfs (atleast during the times i was on)

Which player is which GM is none of your business. It is completely seperated, the player accounts have nothing to do with the GM accounts except that someone is controlling it. That I see people say here which GM account belongs to which player totally proves that you have no idea what you are talking about and that they are actually doing a pretty good job since you don't even know who they really are.

For the other point, I have seen Shai more active than others. Now I can't say that too loud because I am in the same timezone for a while. But Shai came with some pretty good ideas, under which a new event that will be implemented coming sunday.

I can't remember the last time that a privately owned/controlled forum had a freedom of speech clause.

in my opinion no offence to staff but not alot of staff are on that much in the past month (that ive comeback) ive seen shai on like 5 times shade on 15 vulcan 2 gandalf 1 and scripters and admin dont need to log on but there not on that much so they cant help us i also have had many problems with them making mistakes so i would like to see staff form a different timezone bc they will be on more often and we will have constant staff on then a couple times a day or at night

If you check the staff list we already have staff from all kinds of timezones.
It's close to impossible to always have 1 staff members online though since all of them have real lives (well except Shade).

Also know that you cannot see hidden staff in the .on list. Usually there is a GM online, but you don't know about it.

With the current amount of players, if you want to have at least one staffmember online. You need like half the players. Mails will be send out soon, and hopefully more people will come. As the playerbase grows, you need more staffmembers. And eventually, there is a staffmember on all the time.

I'm certainly sure you could get 24/7 staff support if all of us were paying monthly fee's. But we aren't.
It seems like the players on this shard feel entitled to having their every whim catered to by guys who are doing all of this for free and of their own time. The people who put this all together, will eventually get extremely sick of ungrateful douchebags (maka already has) complaining all the time. They will start to think, hey we are doing this to create a game thats fun to play, but all the community does is *****, why bother?
I've gm'd shards before, and admin'd one, its not fun, please trust me on this. Its great to see a world come to life and a community develop and enjoy your world but its WORK to do it.
I'm not railing into you specifically Paige, its more at the community in general constantly calling the staff corrupt and other nonsense. They need to grow up and realise that people providing a free service arent under any obligation at all to please anyone. If you enjoy the shard be grateful, the staff here seems to be better then about 80% of shards I've played. And they arent running off huge ammounts of *donate for lewt* scams like other shards.

BTW, while it seems easy to get gm's for 24 hour coverage of a server, its actually really difficult. Finding people from certain timezones who can make a commitment, and be the right sort of person for the job. That is, trustworthy and able. Its hard to do. Hiring the wrong people for staff has been the downfall of many servers, in fact most of the sphere type pvp shards suffered from this (nos, a9, etc.)
