I believe that every one should be aloud to pick a race if they feel... Its some what unfair in a certain way pvp or rp you should be aloud to pick if they want to be a different race it should not be based on rp or pvp . And if it were perhaps make certain races for just pvpers , and certain ones for rpers ....Its kinda like discrimination -.- ,and no people im not trying to be an ass just kinda curious what every one else feels about this subject . Well as allways thank you for your time . Oh and one more thing .

i dont see how it would work, everyone would have to want races and i dont think the pvpers would want the races i know i dont want any races

There is allready races on the shard theres nothing different about them really besides looks, and you would have the choice to be human ..^^

Races are there for people who wish to be there own being in game, I guess you could say. It adds more to the game than just looks for some people.
However, races will not be just handed out without reason. Anyone can roleplay so it is far from discrimination, players just need to put in that extra effort. By doing so it entitles them to enhance their game play with small visual perks.
If you want to RP a race just submit a story to me personally or in the RP section of the forums. Make sure to read the RP rules and guidelines though, so you know what to expect and what you might be getting yourself into.

Skin color is RP reward much like PVPers have rewards of their own. It's not discrimination since everyone can try and RP like anyone can try and PVP. In RP, like in PVP, you will not get rewarded unless you are good at it.

Well i do thank you all for your opinions. The were very helpful . In fact these are the answers, and remarks i figured i would receive.
Now that i see where every one stands on this matter i wish to hear nor see no further argument on this matter its pointless.I was just hoping some one felt like i did and thought it would be neat to have every one with a different race. I am very sorry to waste your time .

Heh I wasn't trying to shoot you down or crush your idea. Don't get me wrong, I love new and fresh ideas.
The fact is though, this idea in particular would basically nullify what others have worked for.
Still, keep in mind everyone can roleplay a race. So your idea is actually already in effect... the only difference is that it must be earned.
