I'm just going to throw this one out there and see what kind of feedback it gets. I'd put it on a poll, except I don't know how
. Here's my idea:
Instead of limiting the use of GM dye tubs to an individual player, I would like it if the restriction was loosened to use of GM dye tub by account. This way, once you GM tailoring on an alternate character. Still keep it so you can't sell/transfer to players on other accounts.
Is there any reason that this shouldn't be done?
What's everyone think?

i think its a good idea it would make it eazier to logg on and allow alt chars to use the die tub..

But then you would just put all tubs in 1 account and voila, you have 1 char with 5 dyetubs.
At least now, it requires some effort to dye something in another color.

I think Rabbi is just running our of skills to macro :p
I bet it wouldn't just end at 5 tubs. People would just delete old tub chars and make more. I don't think you should be able to macro all the rare tubs that you want.
If you have alot of money you can just gamble and get some random rare dye tub. It costs 600k and will be random rare dye color.

Random... I don't do random
, not for 600k. I'd end up with vomit pink or some heinous color. Has anyone ever bought a random tub for 600k... ?
What's so wrong about putting all the rare dyes on 1 character though? It's almost the same as dying 10000 cloth and just giving it to your main char. Regardless, I could just hand whatever I need dyed from my main to an alt, dye it, then give it back. It's just more annoying that way. I understand what you're saying, but I don't see the problem.
Regards.
Malik meant that it should not be possible to make a tub, remove the char, and make another one, then press repeat.
If that is the only issue it could be solved by binding both to the char and the account. That way, if the char exist, all chars on the acc can use it, otherwise it's not usable.
But like I said, don't really know if that is the only issue.

I don't mind stopping at 5 tubs, that would take forever to do anyway.

So, I'm officially out of things to do. Statics are mad expensive and I'm thinking about starting tailoring on my other characters. Any chance we can get tubs linked to account instead of player?
Regards.

I agree that the tubs should be linked to the account. If you remove a character with a tub, the tub will be removed, isn't that quite easy to make?

There's an option.
I likes it.
Know what'd be funny? If it worked for anyone but was deleted with the character. think of the scams.
