Okay, its been awhile since i have played UO. I realize that I am rusty at PvP but when all I see is a bunch of people running around naked and dropping people with quality sets of armor with nothing but magery it kinda gathers my attention that armor is pointless. Perhaps it should just be completely removed unless of course we just want to use it for PvM. Being a member of the old days of IN there was no such thing as a naked PvP battle that consisted of any player without armor because they would have lost every time. Due to the fact that the weapons and the healing was completely balanced it made the game perfect and the best for 6 years on IN. Now this is a naked mages game. Where did the old IN days really go? I'm not saying i dislike the merge or any of the XUO players, i'm just a little disappointed in the unbalanced PvP. As the old IN saying goes "Be a part of something better" is this really something better? I would like some opinions on this please. No flame just some honest answers to maybe help and better the shard to balance out the PvP. ART THOU DOWN WITH THE NATION?!?!?!

The way you portrayed your post was ignorant and unnecessary, next time, please go get some information on the pvp/gank before you discredit it. You obviously are new and i assure you also wrong. Please message me in-game if you'd like an idea of why you think this way and how absolutly wrong you are .

Alright fine.. Message you i will. Perhaps you could give me some pointers. I obviously need to figure this out from someone that is experienced with this style. My apologies for the post (Title) wasn't necessary. Besides all that it still looks to me that its unbalanced and a mages game.

Just from what I've seen and from old XUO experience. A naked person with high skills (actual in-game skills, and skill at PVPing) can easily take down a fully armored person who doesn't know what they're doing.

The game isn't one where you go out and kill some monster a bunch of times, farm up some uber armor and weapon and be able to run in and start one shotting people while they can't hurt you.

I met with Scarecrow and he showed me a thing or two. The PvP i will still say is different but adaptable with some hard work. His guidance and help has changed my thoughts on the pvp issue. I will just adapt and work to better myself at this new style of pvp. My previous post as far as i am concerned is terminated and over with. Frustration drove me to a limit of no turning back and posting things of which should have just been kept in. My apologies and good luck to everyone.

You are a regular old guy on the street. Your country goes to war, your country throws you in a tank, says this is how you go forward, this is how you back up, turn, and shoot. Go, go, go! You are in an Abrams, and go out in your nice new tank. You come across an old Russian T34 and expect to blow it to hell, only difference is the T34 driver/gunner is more experienced and you die.

T72 > T34 I love all Russian armaments...though, in the Gulf war around 4,500 T variant Russian tanks went up against around 3,500 Abrams...Iraq lost 3400+ tanks, America lost 3 Abrams, only due to range limitations hehe.

When Syria invaded Israel, Israel posted up two DAMAGED Centurion tanks against I believe over 800 or more T34's, and they blew up more then 50% of the T34's and didn't sustain a single casualty...but the Centurion drivers and gunners sure as hell knew what they were doing...the Syrians...well yea.
