In anycase, I like the idea eighty had, but I think it may be easier just to use Lady Minax's idea of having pits runes for dead players, because it would be easier to script and work just as well.

I like that idea. Like, Yellow Pits Runes ! To distiguish it from the real pits runes.

You could just make it a rune that teleports you to a random town, it doesn't even have to res you. No direct path to pits, nada..A faster version of the stuck system, except it can be used more often in case you die. It leaves you to still run, res, re-suit and continue.
