1. stats: allow people to make there str int and stm different. this would allow people to pvp in diferent ways, and get away from the same old pvp fighting. also would allow people who want to craft to carrie more weight.

2. afk macroing: i know this is a big bringer of people to this shard but in no time everyone is going to be gm everything and noone is going to buy stuff from one another. allow eq and other spells to harm everyone, so people have to be more smart on where they afk macro.

3. minoc mines: i beleave that this mine should not be guarded. i know noobs need a place to train minning, so make a noob minning area only allowing noobs in, like the dunguin.people with gm minning should not be able to make free gold at all times with no worries of harm.

4. Guards: guards should not be invul and 1 hit kill. i think that they should be very strong but not 1 hit kill, lets make this a bit more realistic.

i do not think that anyone should have a complete sense of safty. again this is only a suggestion board. people let me know what you think and y. would like to have more prespective. and sorry for the spelling im not an english major.

I love this idea. It is realistic, it brings roleplay, and trust, me I played on shards that were like that, and it didn't screw anything.

In the middle of the city people would still die, murderers had no chance to get to Brit bank per example.

To kill anyone on Brit bank was possible with uber mega gank, but they all would be dead, because they couldn't run in time to out of guard zone.

This will improve the frontier wars.. People that use and abuse the guards safety to try to kill some criminal outside, and when things go wrong just run inside.

This way the PK could risc chasing the coward a bit inside the city just to try to finish him off

Anyway, prolly there are other priorities, but I just wanted to say I love this idea because it is one of the features I always loved on other shards

It would mix up PvP a bit, but I cant really judge too much on this, as I havent even touched on PvP yet

EQ was able to kill you in your house back on old sphere, so it should still be able to kill you now. I live in a small ass house, so Im not saying this cuz i live in a castle or anything.

There is an active topic about this somewhere. Minoc mine should not become unguarded, but only allow you to mine up to a certain type of ingot, leaving rare ingots available only in other mines.

I played on a shard where guards took off 35 damage flat, so on your third hit from them with full health, your dead. They still teleported onto you within the guard line, but then they chased you on foot once outside the city. It was fun. Think its a great idea. I also think it would be cool to have "neutral" guards in some towns, which mean reds or blues can enter, but if they commit a criminal act in the city, guards can be called on them.

I definitely agree that guards should not be insta kill. As Horacio said, it can add fun into the game when you have a slim chance of escaping them.

Minoc Mine should be limited, without a doubt. I made a suggestion elsewhere to have it handicapped as to where only half of the normal amount of irons can be mined. It should also be impossible to mine up the top 5 or 6 ores in minoc mine as well.

I think the stat thing was mentioned before and was frowned upon by the staff.

Eq needs to be fixed to injure people as well.

I love the idea of no insta hit guards. BUT I also love the idea of neutral guards in certain towns. Lend a very nice atmosphere.

I have always wanted to see a town with red guards that attack blue players. Make it a practically unused town like magincia or nujel'm (however you spell it).

The way I remember UO was that grays could walk around town, but vendors wouldn't sell/buy, bankers let you access your bank, but not willingly, and the guards didnt just "pop up" when a gray crosses the town line, someone had to CALL the guards on you.

I would like to see this again, you would be able to enter town at your own risk, and if you were sneaky enough you could sneak into the bank un-noticed, and bank stuff if need be, before someone called the guards on you.

i tottaly agree with the str . dex . int buffs.. otherwise when you max out the spells pertaining to them are completely useless

Totally agree... you enter in a town grey or red and **** nobody seen you but your dead... only player should be able to call guard and npc if you atak them... I totaly agree with the mortal-no insta kill guard. 35hp a shot is enougth to protect you in guarded area.

i disagree with the stat... they should stay like this.

"Criminals" = Players & Vendors call guards
"Reds" = Only Player can call guards ( in No murderer towns)
* In towns that allow murderers, they should be allowed to buy from vendors, but at a highly inflated cost. Blues can still attack them of course. but reds cant attack them or else guards.
PermaGreys = just like it is now.

The only problem that i see with this is I'm not sure if they'd be able to set Towns with murderers allowed, and others where they arnt. But its worth looking into.

about the 35hp dmg.... meh.. worth a try if people say yes.

I don´t think 35HP is very powerfull and scary for a guard. I think 55HP is a better choice. You die in two hits (You can chunk a pot or something to survive a second hit though)
I would love to see this ingame.
