The problem basically consists of no staff ever being on around this time. About 3 days last week I paged sometimes between 7-9:30 A.M. EST, and no staff were on.
With the server being located in Sweden, people play at all different times. I know I go to bed at a decent time, and wake up rather early. Should have at least one staffer on around this time frame.
Server crashed this morning, and now no one is even here to tell anyone to restart it
I'm really not trying to *****, honest. Just wondered if any staff live in the same time zone as me, and do get on, just haven't lately, or what.
Any intelligent input would be fantastic.

1. The server is not located in Sweden, it is located in the netherlands.
2. Both me and Muto has been online since the freeze of the shard happened, but we can not reach Taran (due to no way to contact him), and Maka's doing an university exam or something so we can't really reach him either.
The server will be back online and working as soon as possible, just stay tuned and wait for Maka or Taran to log on, because they are the only ones who can restart the server.
Regarding the issue about staffmembers with the same timezone as you I don't know really. We try to have staffmembers from all kinds of timezones here, but it's also important to be able to trust them, and such things takes time. We can't just hire a bunch of new staffmembers with your timezone right away if we do not have some, but I think we do. If not then we'll discuss it and find somebody to assist us during that timezone, because we do want staffmembers to be available at all times to assist players with their problems.

i really think that the devs//seers should get remote accses to restart the server so when it dose freeze at least we can get back on and not have to wait all night or day to get back on..

I was on when it first froze to... however there was nothing i could do... my client crashed and then i couldnt get back on

We only have one developer at the moment, and that's Nasir, and he's inactive. So I think what Taran was refering to was that we do not have any active developers right now.
I'd gladly help out with remote access, but that's an trust issue that takes time, I myself do not trust people easily at all, during my entire time as an admin of my old server I never gave anybody except for the co-admin remote access to my server, so I can see why it isn't something you just "do" without thinking a lot about it first.

There's a free shard in beta testing and because the people putting so much time and effort into it had to attend to some real life issues rather than baby sit your macro, you didn't GM detect hidden.
It's beta. Shit happens. Stop whining.
Personally I think they are all doing a great job and you shouldn't panic when you have to look at the prospect of interacting with actual people that you can't scroll to death if you think you are cooler than they are.
Which you aren't.
I think the saddest part about the whole thing is 3 or 4 hours after the freeze, there were still 83 people online.
Meaning that ATLEAST 50% of the shard was afk macroing.
I'm glad our members are so active!

And the server is fresh its expected for people to be macroing. If one month from now theres still that problem, than theres an issue.
