The majority players here are from IN and XUO, so whats wrong with referencing past shards? If I was from another shard and they had an idea or system that would add to the current shard, I sure as hell would suggest it. Simply put, all we are doing is "Suggesting". We are not "Deciding". Thats left for the Admins, which are both from IN and XUO. So lets just stop attacking eachother everytimes someone says "Back on IN". Theres more players here from IN, so of course were gonna hear it more. Im starting to worry about this whole IN vs XUO clash. Unless we come to an understanding with eachother, there will eventually only be 2 guilds... [IN] and [XUO].

Now that thats been said...lets Hijack this topic back on course.

on IN, uber-rares were valued from 200-500k

on XUO (from my understanding), they were worth 30-50k.

So why cant we have different levels of rarities? I think very rare things should be high valued. If you dont think a stang is of value, then dont buy it. I just dont understand the point of this Topic.

People are complaining that we shouldnt pay 200k for a stang, we should go and buy a horse for 500gold.

Read that again. The people who are arguing against having rare horses, are also the same people who think coloured stangs are dumb, and we should just be riding normal horses. So then why are we arguing? Buy your horses, or if your in the mood for some colour get a unrare, but still cool lookin stang for around 20k. They are always out there. People seem to be under the impression that every single specially colour tames will cost 200k. THEY WONT. You will still be able to get mounts for cheap too, but the less rare ones.

Also, some people wonder why they get kept in the bank and only are used in towns. They go up in value over time. I have a blackrock orn on IN. I paid 30k for it. I had it for 6 months, and even PvP'd with it sometimes (I was lucky). I sold it for 200k . Thats a pretty good payday.

I told u in In mounts were Expensive, in Xuo not, everyone likes to have coloured mounts.

I propose to put more Random basic colours mounts (red blue, yellow)and then put some rare spawns like ice, fire etc, so for this u will have to pay if u want them maybe 50k maybe 100k all depends of the money that the other player have or the extreme rare mount it is...

This will make happy more people.

Also We are talking about the economy of the server... And THE STAFF havent decided yet how to do it so man, just give more time, all will depend of money.

what the players have to do is stop looking your own interest and just try to make the server fun for all. not only for u.
If u like to macroer months to get a skill this is not IN.
If u like to get blacksmith in 2 days this is not XUO.

THIS IS INX. I remember the first days when people said this is not a new shard... etc. they are wrong this is new a mix of two things is a new thing. so just try to even the things.

If u think that some parts of this server will be like IN or Xuo i think u arent at the right server because they are looking for the common. probably some things will be more similar as In others to Xuo. But not the same.

Well as everyone has already said i tecon an idea might be to make the mounts rareness similar to that of ores.

This way, those that want colored mounts, but dont want to pay a lot for them, can buy the more common ones, and those that want the mounts to be rare, and worth something, can have that as well.

I think we should have one spawn. One mustang and one Zos spawn. There's you're ****ing rare value. On top of that it'll be a PK heaven, so good luck even taming.

Rides were worth a lot on IN, XUO, they weren't. It's obvious a middle ground can be met, in terms of spawns and prices that all can be happy about.

God damn, close this shit thread. If it's not the PvP, it's the rides, if it's not the armors and how hard life must be in UO because people want things to be hard and other's don't, it's something else. I guess I'm gonna have to get back on my ******* boat.

Ironic? because you are now using the same one as all the server except 3-4 people that they are using orns or zostrichs or mustang, cause i havent seen no one using a mustang outside the city.

I keep thinking that having mustangs for using only at banks is completely unworth.

for me the best solution is what elcid and I said easy spots to find ussual coloured mounts(red, blue...), and very very rare to find a nice coloured one (Snow, Black, fire, ice... etc) this will give more colour to the server lol.
so the economy wouldn't be influenced.

Rember the shard have just started up, the economy ain't running properly yet. Peopel are still using alot of money on there skills. So it's really to early to say anything about this. I know when more players get money in there bank they will start to buy mounts and ride them, in towns and even in battels just because they can.
It's a matter of money and waiting till enough rides have been tamed.

How about making some colored rides more common. Even if you do, you can still have rare rides by adding something else to them than being certain color. How about them being karma blue and have extra HP so they won't be killed without consequences so easily? Doesn't need to be that exact property but something that makes those rides more appealing. Making these rides rare and hard to get would make price tag also bigger. Just because there is rare rides doesn't mean all colored rides need to be rare.

First how much time do i need to increase blacksmith to gm? of course im not gonna be a miner because i think its a waste of time of my life. so i will have to buy ingots.

How much time do i need to get Inscription to gm?, Carpentry, Tinkering as examples they will made me spend a lot of money on them so im sure in 2 -3 months i will get them to gm with the proper money so i have to wait 3 months just for starting to save up enough money for spent it on mounts?

i made a nice suggestion i think.. of course the economy of the server is not been running properly. but that i think its one of the importants things u should do at the first time of the server.

I know that there are some rides, but man u only see them on peoples bank not ussing them is quite stupid. I have a mustang and im not gonna use it barely because its very hard to find one, and im not gonna go out of a city have a conecction lost and lose it.

Now u will say You probably didnt look properly, i have ran over all t2a, all the islands and big part of the terrain of uo, so dont really think there are so much mounts.

If i can have more mounts i dont mind to go with them wherever, dungeons, pvp, etc..

I've played old sphere xuo, there where much rare rides in that time everyone could buy one from 6 or 7k, if you had a nice color you could even ghet more money for it, but what i seen here is realy something els ik mean wtf i dident even saw a rare ride yet XD and i play 3 weeks.... its not like it need be like old times cause we are a rp, pvp shard but hey this is rediciluis how hard it is to ghet a nice colored mustang for youre colored armor... i think we should make this much less harder but still hard inough to make it worth to train animal taming. and why not make wind countrey yard a tame area...? it wil atract lots pk,ers so you dont even need a monster there.

First of evryone that discussion and taking up the prices mentioned before in this topic is way off.
I have sold a tamed Nightmare on IN1 for 1,5million i think it was. But that could kill dragons for gods sake. Others have sold other and i say other unique mounts for 200k+ before on a IN shard. Heck i don't expect anyone to pay 200k+ for a stang that several peopel have. I have brought a exampel up from old IN1 only to say some ppl are willing to pay a shit load of money for a unique stang. Thats the only place a comparison of prices from former IN shards and this shards are valid.
What comes to the prices here, well as you jsut said you wanna GM a shit load of expensive skills, other wanna look good on a mount. And have a new player go Woww where did you get that.
What comes to the not seeing any stangs, well i have seen plenty of stangs at Brit bank, where i have showed of and others have showed of there mounts too. Give it some time and let the market for stangs start. Heck right now as it is i spend 4-6 houers for each tamed stang. If you wanna price that work to 5-20k you defently ain't gonna get a deal on a stang from me. (Note to those that don't know it, taming got fixed and they are damn hard to tame now)
