Make macroing at the bank not allowed or atleast afk macroing...
It lags everyone and so many retards in your way, 1 for every 5 - 6 people are afk at the bank Go somewhere else to macro or sit afk.
(time to make a character to kill people at the bank...)

make a pit area for macroing and anyone at the bank for more than 15 minutes gets turned grey.

Incase the macroers read this there are plenty of other towns with zero population, I'll keep my favorite to myself but just go somewhere other than brit, use the pit rune, go to minoc, run to the gate and find a town...its tough I know....

I, obviously, agree. I had played on UO:Hybrid *pukes* for a short while. Though I did not like the player base and teh PvP system. One thing I did like was the fact that i could goto virtually any town and there was more then likely atleast 5 people hanging around the town. It just makes the server seem more fuller when people are more spread out.

Yeah but not everyone there spams guards for you!
But yeah UOG: Hybrid has about 800- 1500 people on at all times, hence why people spread out. Plus there is also factions which made every towns prices different. And brit usually was the most expensive.
The trick to get people out of brit is to make it expensive, and make other towns have a point to go to. Really the only point to leave brit is to get more Sulfuric ash because its all bought out. Other then that it has everything.

Now that's an excellent idea. Why not somehow make an ecomony system or something to make the popular towns expensive in commonly used materials?

i'm sure that when this first phase will be passed, other steps as good as this you are suggesting...
factions and different prices (and a place on the websites that tells you brit is not the most convenient town) would be a great idea...

anyway you have to consider that since UO is born, Brit bank is the center of the world <3...
and newbie that comes here and see a brit bank full of ppl think "oh, what a nicely full server, i'll settle down right here!"

But then again, for those that know UO and see that yeah, there's 20 people sitting at the bank, how many of those 20 people can give them information because they're AFK?
