Area of unallowed housing around Wrong
#1

I was searching for places to put a house and there were some nice spots around the entrance to wrong, but there is a predefined area around the entrance where no housing is allowed.

I wouldn't have a problem if it was a small area and I could even understand if it was the entire region after the pass you need to travel through to get to Wrong (even though there are some very nice house spots in there) but there is a HUGE area even outside of this pass that houses are not allowed in, which makes no sense at all. Let players place houses closer to Wrong! I'm not sure if this applies to other dungeons or not, but this is the only one I really noticed it at.

Anyone who wants to see what I'm talking about can go there with a small house deed and check it out. It's really quite strange.

Edit: this is what I'm talking about---
The red is the approximate zone of no housing allowed

camping the dungeon has nothing to do with having a house near it. The first enemies are always lame like skellies, zombies, orcs and the like. Any good mobs would be deep in the dungeon so you would use a rune anyways to camp those spawns. It wouldn't matter where your house is.

You would be retarded to put a house next to an area just to get easy access to some skeletons. You could do that in other areas anyways, next to graveyards.

I meant for people to camp to entrence to kill people going in to hunt.

So grow a pair an dhang around somewhere you could get ganked yourself? Try having a house at Covetous. The best Mining land in the map but the most asshats willing to gank a guy with a pickaxe.

I totally agree. Housing placement is way too strict. That was the great thing about sphere. You were able to place your house even if there was a small indent or slant, a small rock, some plants etc. Here, man, I dont know. I tried placing my house one this island where there are pretty much only 2 spots you can place it. Lets just say here...Good Luck.

*after 20 mins of random clicking on the island i found a placement...but still its very strict. Let us place over rocks, and plants, and slight slants...who cares? Or is it just RUNuo?

From what I think i remember from my admin days, RunUO acts shifty if a house is placed on a wierd plot of land. I might be wrong. Someone correct me if I am.
