Shade: The multi.mul and multi.idx files are broken. Do you have an old copy you can upload?
Eru: Yes, I'm awesome like that.
Shade: Could you replace the ones I screwed up in Dropbox with your awesome working ones?
Eru: Sure, my boy! I'll do that for you.
Shade: Thanks Eru, you're good at fixing things.
No mention of changing the patcher.
I've changed it now though and the multi files won't be patched.

Oh, and the files can be copied while they're in use and you'll only have problems if they're being actively changed during the zip process. If that was the case, Syncplicity would never stop. It probably has something to do with using the latest client's multi files and then trying to update the multi files of 6.x.x.x clients.
