Special Woods
#1

Maybe some special woods could be cool, and more diverstity for carpentry and be able to put the logs in boards so it could be lighter. Thanks

It's just a suggestion...

Maka said he was thinking about implement them when things calm down abit, would be nice if we could have like yew, oak, maple, ebony, mahogny etc.

I love this feature. It brings new diversity to the shard.

Vote on bringing back Marble and Stone ores for decoration!

I think it would actualy give a reason to work on Carpentry. The ability to make different kinds of bows. Ranging from "Average Logs" to like "Petrified Logs," or "Blood Logs," etc etc.

I've played on may shards with colored logs. The only benefit I has seen from the color logs is that the item you make with is that color. It adds to really nice house deco.and some colored bows. How about the higher the color the higher the damage?? When you bs armor you get different armor ratings. It would have to be balanced... also give you a reason to train archery or use it.

Err... crap I meant blowcraft / fletching.

It would actually be pretty cool to be able to make wooden weapons or armor out of some types of wood. Like "tender wood" would be the equivalent of leather, like thick leaves or something heh.

I think this is a cool idea. Weapons and Sheilds could be better with each level, I like the Ebony, Mahogany, Rosewood ect ect idea, kinda realistic. Tear Kite Shields might be worth it if you can make them out of a nice hard wood (higher AR). PLus it would spice up the deco scene.

+1 to this idea

Make a detailed votable thread in the Voting Booth section. I would like to reiterate my explanation on why I approve this. It also gives a chance to see what others think on a more mass scale.

I remember on one shard i played they had wood dye's and varnish... you need crap and something like 50 alchemy to make them but it allowed you to basically mix furniture dyes. There was like 20-30 different colours which could be made by mixing certain regs/items together... and yeah they left it as just normal logs.
