I know theres a lot of threads talking about ping etc. but my problem is about somehow graphic lag. My comp isnt shit, it has way more than the prerequired and still, when i run with my Map open, i frame lag. When I run with a horse I get frame lag

I did a tracert
and it was between 13ms to 160 ms...

SO i really think the problem is graphics. But how the hell can I fix that ? There isnt video settings in this game except for Resolution...
and even at lowest resolution i still have the same problems

Would Ultima Online - Age of Shadows would be better ?

The problem is not graphic lag, unless you have a computer that is so old that it doesn't run XP properly.
The problem is a connection problem on xs4all's side, and they are trying to fix it.

hmm so even if I play with another version of UO I wouldnt be able to run with my horse and stuff ?

I have graphic problems too and my comp isn't slow. Ping is nice (~50 ms). When i´m running it freeze for about 1 sec and i can see some black cut of the world (unloaded world). I have searching for same problem and found this:
