As a New player, whats the best way to earn a living on this server? What are people in need of? What can benifit the rebuild?

If you are looking for a normal way to get money... about the easiest thing would be to kill various small creatures and get hides. My highest combat that I use is at 67 right now (swordsmanship), and in an hour of hunting by myself I can probably make 4-5k, just running around killing stuff. You could also mine / lumberjack / gather other resources (cotton or food) and sell it to vendors, or use those resources to make things that could sell to vendors.

If you are looking for a get-rich-quick scheme, then that is up to you to figure something out.
