My take on the shard:
#1

It does look nice and some of features aren't bad at all! I remember back when it took me a year to GM magery, mostly due to not macroing.

The skill gain is a bit too slow, but you guys already got wind of that. I turned my character on to macro at 4:30A.M. It's now 3:10 P.M. central time, and from 0 anatomy is 66. But I haven't been logged off, so I imagine the reboot is..when? Tongue

But yeah, other than that..crafts should be hard, it'll help in the long run with economy, but you do want the economy to be attainable and the crafts shouldn't be impossible, or so hard some give up. Afterall, a few people for a while will have a monopoly on things until more gain the skills. You shouldn't get 100 gps from a mongbat. But, then again, you should maybe get something you can sell, like gems, that fetch a DECENT price, but nothing detrimental to the economy, just enough that if you work long enough, you can supply yourself to go after bigger creatures.

Overall, I like it a lot. This anatomy is still pissing me off though, but as some said, you don't need everything to PvP or hunt, but I do like to aid res.Tongue

Good work guys, keep it up.

Woho, thanks a lotSmile Will be a lot nicer to macro after reboot I think, think we might of found the middle ground.

im pretty impressed so far too i didnt have alot of faith in it before..

there are just a couple of things id like to know though, why is the stat cap 100 and why do stat modifying factors (spells) not work?
#4

Lerri, those are both factors of the XUO PvP, which we decided would stay.
So yeah, it's to make the PvP better, hehe.
#5

Uhmm..

has the easier skill gain. thing been implemented

Restarting the server now, should work after that.

Just a note. I noticed that a lot of the complaints about skill gain/monster loot etc is coming from xuo players and I can understand why, but you should wait for a decent amount of complaints from in players as well so you can see that there is actually a problem...because after reading how they thought 1 day to gm a combat was totally rediculous WTF.

it should take about 10-15 hours to GM a combat, not 36 which is a day and a half. thats how it was on IN:R at least. I dunno what changes were made recently though. I'm just bummed about lumberjacking, cause you only get a few logs each hit instead of 10 like it should be. Maybe it was different on runuo and i'm just forgetting how it was on sphere. I wish I had gold to buy logs. Sad

Selling Forges and Anvils, 15k Each, 25k for both.
Selling Looms and Spinning Wheels, 15k Each, 25k for both.
Selling Water Troughs, 10k Each

In my opinion, the shard is on the right track to a stable and balanced economy which is awesome cos alot of the time the economy is out of control and unbalanced. But yeah, now the skill gain is fast again, it should be goodSad if only i didnt keep getting dc/ed so i can macro! Wink

I think that this could be a bug, I'll add it to the trackerSmile
