I would just like to point out..
#1

.. that there's a thread that I think most of you should check out.

I know that there's plenty of roleplayers at this server, but I've only seen three people post in this thread. It is a thread in which you roleplay here at the forum, talking to each other in a roleplayish kind of way.

I like the thread and I'd like to see more people roleplay, so that we none-roleplayers can see how it works and learn from it. Plus it's fun to read stuff that roleplayers have said to each other, and that may make the forum even funnier to be at as well :]

That'd be all, I know this "point-out thread" does not really belong here at the general part of the forum, but I just wanted to make everybody aware of this thread, because I think a lot of you have been missing.

So, I guess I'll hopefully see some of you at this thread then :]

Regards,
Hate

Some people like to "role play" to different extents, which may or may not include the forum. While i acknowledge that a few people do show off some good writing skills, i've never been one to get into the stories on the RP forum. That's just my personal opinion, and i wouldn't want some former XUO players who aren't so hot on RP to think that this is a necessary part of it.

Yeah no worries, I just figured it might get them to actually like it a little bit more. At least I found it pretty fun to read while the roleplayers were talking to each other in there :]

Of course you don't have to write there, nor do XUO players have to watch it, it was just a suggestion for those who may be interested :]

I like to establish my character in game first, as even i don't know what the world holds for him until im there. Then as "Actually" things happen in game, I write stories about them.

i think hate was saying that those who do like to roleplay really should try posting there so people who don't can get a sense of it and then maybe join you Smile

I dont think he was trying to push it on anyone at all. I think he was just trying to point how interesting it can be when RPers get together and just start going with the flow. Because otherwise it probably would have indeed been the same few people participating. Hell, Ive seen several from XUO start trying to RP since this forum has started to grow. That's really cool I think Smile .

Yeah that works too :] I was just thinking that if your roleplay character is the same one coming from IN, then "he" could just "write at a bulletin board" (the forum) and tell us what race he is, if he's good/evil, etc etc :]

But yeah I wasn't trying to push anybody, however I do think that writing those things about your character can be possible no matter if you have seen the new world yet :] It's all up to you, I just find it to be a fun thread, and I like how some XUOers are trying to RP as well :]

Yeah it can be fun to RP...jus sitting here bored at the office anyways. Im surprised the UO forums arent "Games" filtered. Good times for me.

Hate, since you started this topic, why dont you test your luck in some RP? Theres nothing wrong with GM's tellin their "God-like" stories, their interesting. Who knows, maybe you could be the next Zeus Tongue

Indeed, the best roleplayer stories are those that portrait the ingame scenario.

Skorp do you remember the roleplay of TheLegion and that one Reineke and it's friends with 2 faces ? Wink Those where the days Wink

Why I haven't done it already is because it feels very wrong in my eyes considering that I've always learned that GMs should only stay in the shadows and not interfere with the game world, especially not in a roleplay world ;p But yeah, perhaps I could try roleplaying a lil as a "God" at the forum though ^^ I have a feeling I'd probably be Hades and not Zeus though Wink I think Maka or Coldrake would suit good as "Zeus", and Taran could be Hera (the wife of Zeus) ^^

Thnx for the suggestion though, I may try my luck as a "roleplaying God" there later, if that's OK with the other roleplayers as well that is. I don't really know what would feel right or wrong in the eyes of the roleplayers since I'm not really a roleplayer :/ Feel free to inform me though :]

Hate
