I was never a vivid RP'er back then but when in public i tried to stay in character and avoid talking about irl things. Didnt always work but its the trying thats important
Im sure that once the shard goes live and everyone is settled RP will pick up and be a big part of the ingame experience.

look, i'll be the first to admit there were loads of jerks on xuo. there were people running around scream SP*C at any spanish person and calling them noob. i really don't think you can expect people to accept you RPing. no matter what you do there will be people who don't like you.

Thats what IN1 was all about, RP wasnt forced but people respected it enough to not mock it.
sorry, but that will never happen. asking that is infact asking everybody to RP and there are simply dozens of people who don't want to. you have to realize this is not IN anymore. it is 2 very different shards joined together to make 1 new one. i mean come on, even on IN not everybody RPed, so you can't expect players from a PvP shard to want to RP.

Well, Here's what I think you should do Veno.. You Roleplay and a bunch of other people will prolly do it aswell, and you keep doing it, and if you are lucky, more people will start to aswel.

There will never be another IN1, the variety of personalities and the maturity of those who led guilds just won't happen again. Let alone the size of the playerbase hehe.
But I don't agree there were only 6 GM Tamers on IN1, there were tons of people toward the end who had the GM Reward at least. I don't know if tons of people used bugs, I assume some did, but who knows. There was definitely more than 6.
As far as taming on IN:X you're gonna have me and magus to compete/make a monopoly with. I think we're both around 80 (which took forever cause it wasn't repetition based). I think I'd spend about 8 hours a day and get like 1.0 a day if I was lucky. But yeah, good luck catching up, I'm sure you'll do it eventually, but we should definitely talk about prices and stuff to keep competition to a minimum. Maybe even open a tamers shop together or something.

Sorry i exagerated it a bit.. but seriously.. around the "End" as you say it.. taming was a joke.. mounts were guarded by super elite monsters.. and i hadnt even bothered taming anymore for like 5 months before the shard closed. like 2 years before that, when taming was more realistic, their were very few tamers.. and it was a reallly long time before they all started sprouting up.. but the world was already pretty monopolized by the current gm tamers, our prices were incredibly low.. which probably was a bad thing for the economy. As for you 80 taming.. your talking IN:R which.. i barely even took part in, and i believe i was doing archery on that shard.. so if skill transfers do happen, i will continue with selling arrows instead.

Wont there be harasment rules on INX? Cause running around calling others names wasnt allowed on old IN. I always liked that sort of censoring which also makes it more kiddie friendly.
Anyway ill try to stay in character as much as possible when im ingame. Even when others around me dont. I just hope it catches on with a bunch of people

People have different oppinions about wht harassment is though. Some say that calling your enemy names is ok cause he is a bad guy, others say it isnt. Apparently it was accepted behaviour on XUO thats why i was wondering.
But yeah i prolly should read all the stuff on the site. Im just so lazy
On XUO it was legal to "taunt" the guy to get him to fight or to start a fight, and that was only legal to a certain extend. It was not legal to use racial remarks and other "hatish" comments. This is IN-X though, and most rules we have, will come from IN/1. It is that world we are trying to give to everyone and replicate.
It was really fun to taunt someone into fighting you for a tour gear though:p

Taunting should be allowed, and is impossible to stop.. Shit when you really think about it, Hate is what makes the best PVP (*flashback* Black/turks memory)
