Corp por wis noone care that he is your friend and makes a scripts for you. Go protect your dragons in destard not copyright law silly boy. He published it and the case is absolutely clear. If he didnt want anyone to have those macros he wouldnt have published it.

Mind you Magic Words grammar!
#51

What you mean?
#52

He being the copyright holder is debatable, but in case he is, it doesn't matter if he put it up for public use or not. He'd still be the copyright holder and that means anyone else publishing his work without his permission is breaking that law. He broke the shard rules and got punished for it, but two wrongs don't make a right.

That crap is not protected by copyright law especially he allowed people to use it. That was beneficial from him. We re grateful Smile

lol you play on a free shard and uo is protected by copyright laws and shit like those, yet you talk about a script being copyrighted?! stop with hyprocisy!

The name of the person in the post before yours, you put it wrong. And these are magical words for a spell... If you put them in wrong order, you can get something you didn't want to get.

Sure, why are we talking about some kind of law that covers the issues of copyright in MMO games? The law, which moreover doesn't exist.

Exactly Raziel.

my friend? I didn't even know him, lol. Unlike you i now how its hard to script at least something decent and i respect his work and talent no matter what. Ungrateful people like is actually the reason why scripters don't want to share their scripts with others.
#58

He shared his scripts with us so I dont see the problem. Yes, I agree, those scripts are very good.
#59

He shared the scripts, never said they were copyrighted nor that you need his permission to post it anywhere.. so there is no problem on sharing those even if he deletes them!
Also he never said anything about changing the script...

Even I have no certainty whether those scripts are his. I didnt see there anything like "all rights reserved for turbonegro" or "publishing not allowed".
