Im sure a new system for mounts will be worked out soon if your not happy. But really these mounts are more of a collectors item and are seen to flash wealth so if they are expensive thats no surprise... something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it

Let's sume it up
You think 20k to let's say 50k is expensive for a semi rare mount.
I as a tamer say thats a fair price for the work we put in it.
We are 14 players in SIN, most of us, have spend houers if not days, running around the map, only looking for stangs.
Now we got the locations, and i daily spend atleast 2 houers looking through these locations to tame the stangs when they spawn.
So far i have made nada selling my mounts because i don't value two houer of mount hunting to be worth 5-10k.
So please think about it before complaining to much.

I think the spawns should be reduced and made even more rare.

Back on IN1 we did pay tons of money for rides and not all of us kept them at our house or in our banks. Plenty of times I paid 100 - 500k for a ride and my sister probably spent about 5 million on rides through the duration of IN1. We rode those rides around and fought with them. This made you an instant target most of the time because people wanted to steal it for themselves. The second that someone with a rare ride died you would see half the people around popping open gates to their home.

Rides shouldn't be a dime a dozen. It's bad enough that they are too easily tamed as it is. If there are any more spawns added I hope they are crazy guarded like they used to be.

They are rare rides and you should have to risk your life to get them.

Oh and about that sneaker comment, I really hope that was a very bad joke.

This just comes down to the difference between the 2 shards and the reasons why and how some of us want to play. Im used to them being pretty common, more of them than normal horses and llamas and the rest. I used to buy and sell them for 2-7k depending on the color. Players are just coming from completely opposite ways of playing. If they really are rare then they will have to be sold for a lot i guess. Lots of people are used to them not being rare though. We use them for everyday attire and lose them quite often. I was used to losing 4-5 colored mounts a play session.

just to let you guys know how freaking hard atm is to find those stangs... the spawn timer is 1/6 change of them spawning in 24h + you actually need to find them.. if someone has allready tamed 1.. you might have runned over the spawn at some point. i spended 4 days running around felluca/t2a/dungeons and i found 1 stang.. so if really people ain't even paying 20k of 1 sweet looking pimp ride.. i sure hell won't sell. im just gonna keep them all my self and laugh to people.

Pretty much everyone that played on IN and earned decent money.

The only true way to ride a nice ride would be to "stay safe" and RP/PVE... You have to make it in a neutural prospective where everyone can enjoy a ride and with pvp'ers you know your rides going to die.

If you have PVP skills and you aren't a *****. I know many people who used to ride with only mustangs and rarely regular rides (i.e. Rineheart, but he had everything, Kamal when PVPing, Redorb etc.), and they were this hard to tame back then. They aren't as rare as you think.

Ok so if it's the best part of your char, then everyone should just have as much as they want, just like IRL with your shoes, because everyone loves having great shoes, I mean they are 10-20 dollars IRL just like rides are 10-20k IG...especially the best shoes, for $25. NO. Black people (a sarcastic stereotype) and wiggers (not sarcasm and a true stereotype) care about their shoes. If the good shoes IRL were 10-20 dollars and everyone had them, they wouldn't be the good shoes...because everyone has them.

Thats what I believe. A good armor/clothing match isnt good without the ride, makes your quality of appearence cut in half.

Which is why when you don't have a ride, people know you are either poor and lazy IG, are very busy IRL, or just don't care about all that.

Everything on this server is just a shitload to buy. I mean you can't really enjoy many things on this server unless you got shit load of cash to purchase it. There must be a balance, it's as if everything has a monopoly (in a sense).

Why do XUO people feel like everything must be handed to them?

Right now, the mount prices are between what they were on IN and XUO. As Rexal said, it comes down to 2 completely different playstyles, so we must try to find the middle ground. Also, you're not considering the difficulty in attaining the mounts.

Rather than arguing the price(which wont be changed because of the circumstances at this moment), should be discussing the rarity and difficulty of taming.

That is what was being said in the OP here..

I think that we have to increase the tamable rides spawn, such as Llamas,Zos,etc... those types of rides and make them available for tamers/buyers. I mean the only Zos i've seen is a grey one, without color. Part of the game to me was always matching my armors with rides, and I dont see this here. It's sad to not see it because it would increase the money flow in the economy aswell because it gives people reason to buy something, and everyone likes a nice ride.

I say we increase the spawn system for the mounts... Make the skill usefull for how hard it is to get, and let people enjoy rides, which is a big part of the game I believe, which is keeping your sexy.

Then later on kinda changed to the money situation only. Forget the current prices, how about the challenge of getting the mounts? Prices will change when that is changed. I would personally like them more accessible.

Saphire and Daemonsteel really rare....
