dude I ping higher than you and I have learnt to adapt to the lag and PvP. I don't suck when I PvP either its just a matter of adaptation u can get used to it if u really want to.

Both Liquid and Joe Black(PM) seems to have problem with the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (http://www.apnic.net/). I suggest that you guys, guys email them and tell them about the bad ping. Also submit the tracerts in the email. Don't submit it as a file though, help desks/support tends to ignore files.

yes NoX, dont get me wrong, i can pvp to a certain extent when im on foot. which is fine. I could sit in the pvp arena the whole day. however, when im on a horse i actually walk faster then running. Which is rediculous. You cant really appreciate the aspects of pvp and uo itself with that kind of lag.

If i go hunting with this lag, ill die, i dont think ill even be able to get away from a dragon if it chased me. This will cause frustration and anger, and im not joining a shard that is going to be pointless for me.

I put up with the lag on INR because there were no scrolls everything was slower and you could acutally compete. INR ping through command prompt was around 180 and on razor pinged 350 average...here we ping 320+ through command prompt and on razor its 700+. On a horse u freeze every 3 steps and on foot if u run around and hit you also sometimes freeze and jump a few tiles to where you should be. Thats not even the delay part... If I see someone fs me and I press gh as soon as I see them fs, I have to wait 1-2 seconds jsut for the gh target to come up meaning that i only start to heal when or after fses hit me and when i crit someone and try to fs they have 2 seconds to start healing before i can even start to fs.
Its a shame because theres like 20 of us and if you wanted new challenger in pvp it would have been us.

meh... i averaged 550-600ping on INR and both setep and duke knows this because i was never able to chase any1 down when pvping with them. to solve this problem i had to drive to dukes place and pvp there. but over the past months i adapted to the lag and pvp on INR and was able to 1v1 people within a small area with no problem, but chasing down a person in group fights or lame people running around buildings in a 1v1 i couldnt cope with. Now on INX my ping is around 400 sometimes 700, but when its at 400 i find that i lag more than the ping i had on INR which was 550. Weird...

you guys have to understand a great quantity of uo players that played on IN:R are from australia. And we ALL lag. And the sad part is, most of us were the most competitive pvpers on IN:R. Including me, Duke, Joe Black. And im sure with no lag, we could put up a good fight, as we have shown in 1 week of pvp killing some xuo players. Now with this lag, yes we still might stand a chance on foot? but wtf? im not gonna stay inside the dueling arena all day. Thats not what UO is about or IN for that matter.

Why can't XUO get transfered to IN:R hosting at the very least. Or can something be done about this, because its not just me, theres around 20 of us from australia, and thats a large quantity of commited uo players.

Sorry to cause more trouble admins, but theres nothing else we could really do but either quit, or try solve this problem. Because im not gonna bother with this lag, as Duke said all the timing is bullshit, i cant even run on a horse, cast properly or nothing.

its abit 'fucked' to say (excuse my french), but if this lag isnt minimised a little at the least. We will probably end up quitting, its pointless. I know it sounds like a whinge, but its really not. Im just stating that the lags unbearable and i know its not the admins faults. But, what else can we do?.. Fastest connection in Australia and we lag. No other solution on our side.

Is it possible to place the hosting back on IN:R old hosting? or an American based hosting? It might be that its soo far away. Maybe if its american based, we would actually have decent ping. Not sure, but most American hosted shards seem to run fine on my connection.

yo Liq , i had the same prob months ago because something was lagging me to the death. After doing the tracert thing and finding out who was behind that, i emailed them and got no response..im serious emailing that ppl is , in most of the cases, a total waste of time. Thats when my dear friend Ztoke popped up and told me to download this program Spybot Search And Destroy, wich finds any harmful being located in ur comp(spywares or anything wich may cause ur lag).You should try it im serious, after using it and getting rid of the " bad stuff", my lag was gone again , and im telling you my lag was horrible , from 500 to 1000 and above

hehe well im not trying to kill the ropes boys but liquid is from Australia and the distance between xs4all and aussie is quite the lot thus leading to a higher latency than the rest. You can try and format ur pc or remove the spyware it has, im sure it will help but ur ping will still be 300+

I have it even worse, I'm from New Zealand.
