yes cuz having staff decorate a house will make so many more ppl want to play here, by having that the gameplay for ppl will increase LOL. i think 1/2 the shard don't even notice 90% of the decos around.

That it won't attract players? I never said that was the point, I said it acts as a gold sink which in turn helps the economy since everyone won't have 10 million gp to spend every day.

seriously at times 80 u should just run ur own uo shard off ur pc and play by urself so that way u can make anything u want.

Point simple, reason is it's useless just like ur damn paralyze c.rap. If people don't want to see it then it's simple they don't want to see it (stop trying to make a damn debate out of everything), not everyone wants it done the 80 swords way which is something u have to realize.

The problem with it is people gonna start puting it around house so other players cant put a house near, lowering the space for houses in the shard.

True, but it could be limited to x tiles away, like only 5-8 tiles infront of your house. This way people can still get some decoration but it won't block a whole area so it's not too bad. And I doubt people willl be paying like 100k just to stop someone from putting a house right next to them since they can just go over another 2 tiles and put the house there

I'm 'flipping out about it' or 'making a debate out of it' because no matter what I post you, smoke, and scare all say no to it when it doesn't affect you in any NEGATIVE way. It's ridiculous how strongly you argue against something when it doesn't affect you in any NEGATIVE way. What NEGATIVE effect does the paralyze thing have on you? What NEGATIVE effect does letting people put some deco in front of their house have on you? Do you see what I'm getting at? I'm suggesting to implement something that has no NEGATIVE effects yet people still argue against it. Why?

If you think this suggestion is useless how about you justify your opinion with some reasons as to why you think it's useless. Are you saying it's useless for the one reason that it won't attract more players? Right... because the status page suggestion ATTRACTED more players... No it didn't, it just satisfied some of the existing ones. That's what I'm trying to do too, why's it suddenly so bad for me to give suggestions for our existing players? Sorry, I missed the memo on that being a taboo.


All you and some other people ever do is argue something to put you and your 2 buddies ahead and stop other people from getting what they want. Keep an open mind and let others have their fun too. What good reason is there to not allow someone to put a little bit of deco in front of their house? Will it take away from dev time? No. Will it take ANYTHING out of UO that you do? No.

Just because a few people don't like the suggestion doesn't mean nobody can enjoy it. Those few people who don't like it can opt not to participate in it and leave it for the others. Same as what some people do when there's an event going on that they don't like. They don't argue for 10 posts saying never to host the event, they just wait for the next one. I don't see any valid reasons to ruin something for others just because you don't like it...

I dont meant people was going to put it just to stop other people to place a house there, but as a consequence from puting the deco there.

I think it had to be really expensive so the shard dont look like a gay parade, everywhere you pass have fountains and flowers and those things in the way.
