I dont see why anyone would have a problem with this idea? I think it's great..

Because of the accurate I mentioned in the thread. I'm sorry.. did you miss it? I made its own headline and everything.. wierd.
And; Why do you think people is looking for rare mounts? Hmm.. The horses moves as fast as the rare mounts do, still they're 100 times more expensive.
Lederoil Wrote:Pande Wrote:and im totally against changing your accuracy or attack speed based on armor. this would have a HUGE effect on pvp.
Why would it?! There are already magic weapons with different accurate! Can you explane why it would have this "HUGE(!!!)" effect on the PVP when the magic weapons don't?
Lederoil Wrote:Pande Wrote:besides, most people will fight in a tour with good quality armor when they get it; most likely extreme armor.
Ok... It's very weird that there even are different types of armor, 20 different ores, if it is as you try to point out, that only the most extreme armor will be used. Shouldn't we just remove all of those and leave only the most extreme armors?
Pande Wrote:maybe people buy rare mounts because they want a colored ride that looks cool. or maybe they want the colored ride to match it with their armor sets. or maybe they want the colored ride to match it with their RP or R/R items.
Pande Wrote:wearing leather armor doesn't make you look cool or rich. wearing adamantium armor matched with a ride makes you look pimp and rich.
Pande Wrote:to me, that serves more of a purpose then getting armor that will change your stats creating an imbalance between players. colored rides don't give an advantage in a duel, stat changing armor does.
Pande Wrote:from my guess these types of weps have been around since the beginning of uo. we are also trying for a sphere replica. now if you log onto an AOS shard you will see all the items have different bonuses or drawbacks.
Pande Wrote:if it's not a serious duel i doubt people even bother checking someone's weapon. the only thing they take into consideration is someone's armor type (ie it's ar rating) which they can judge by looking at their player.
Pande Wrote:if it's a duel to decide the winner of a 30 player tournament, MAYBE people will look at the other player's weapon and see what it's stat bonuses are ie +5 or +15 tactics.
Pande Wrote:XUO pvp is NOT meant to be item based, and doing this would infact make items take a roll in the pvp. if you compare the 2 above players, that gives an accuracy difference of 39 points just because of their items... not cool.
Pande Wrote:hope you enjoyed my points
Maka Wrote:accurate leather suit would not ruin PvP in anyway, thats a fact according to me.I really don't know who else would be the right person to say how this would affect the PVP-system, if not Maka.
