IN1: In the early days Britain was unguarded, the major towns in use by players were Minoc and Trinsic (particularly Trinsic for RPers/Order). Then Britain was reguarded and became the hub of most activity and PvP but Minoc was always very popular because of the guarded mines and frequent PK fights at the mine. Trinsic was unguarded for a time after the re-guarding of Britain so it became mostly empty, when the guards were brought back later it was once more where a lot of the more order/RP orientated players hung out around/on top of the bank. Also many people may remember that the safe zone at the Silverymoon Inn was an extremely popular hangout for a long time.
IN2 had no cycling of guarded cities, most guard-line PvP took place at Luna in Malas or at guild HQ/towns. I'm not sure there was ever a significant strong RP town on IN2.
